2020 has certainly been a challenging year for us all for so many
reasons. Our residents, relaves and staff have connued to be truly
amazing throughout. We are extremely proud of all our staff and will
be forever grateful for your hard work and the exceponal care you
provide.
Thank You!
We are not alone in this. We have received so many fantasc messages
of praise for you all throughout the year that we thought we would
share just a few of these from each home.
So, thank you all and connue to keep safe.
Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year.
It is incredibly hard to have to relinquish
care of loved ones to other people, and
not a decision that can be taken lightly,
but I know now that in choosing
Parkland it was the best I could have
done for Mum and Dad.
UJ, relative from Parkland House
Throughout this recent worldwide
turmoil, Ma has been in the very
best hands of a wonderful group of
staff. I often receive photos of her
doing various fun projects with the
staff or sitting in that amazing
walled garden enjoying an ice cream
with a sun hat on as large as a
coffee table!!
My Ma is nearly 100 years old and
her continued well-being, fun and
happiness is wholeheartedly down to
the quality of the staff looking after
her. A big big thank you.

Care for the residents and staff is
first and foremost above anything
else. You are all doing an amazing
job and I thank you all from the
bottom of my heart for keeping my
dad safe through this awful
epidemic. All I ask is that you keep
on doing exactly as you are because
it is working for my dad and the
residents of Plymbridge House, and
hopefully all the other Peninsula
Care Homes.
I pray that this dreadful germ gets
blasted by the vaccine and we can
all get back to some sort of
normality soon.
MM, relative of resident at Plymbridge
Thank you so much to the entire team at Bramble Down,
who have worked so hard to keep everyone as safe as
possible. I know the pandemic is far from over but I am
hoping we are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.
The team has been professional and compassionate since
this madness started and I'm sure some of it has come at a
sacrifice to the staff's personal and family time. You are all
appreciated.
HB, relative of resident at Bramble Down
Thank you for all you do,
you really are all an
amazing bunch!
KC, relative of resident at Cornerways
Bramble Down cared for my mum
during the lockdown and made her
feel loved and very happy. I cannot
praise the staff enough for the way
they looked after Mum physically
and emotionally. Not only are the

administration and management
are also warm and professional as
well.
I have no reservations in
recommending this wonderful
home. Thank you for all you did for
my wonderful mum.
SW, relative of resident at Bramble Down
Thank you for your routine updates.
The most recent has made my sister
and myself so grateful of the care my
mother is receiving and the love you
are all giving during our time apart.
We are facing an uncertain future,
but we would like to send a massive
Thank You. Not only to Parkland,
where our mother is, but to all your
staff.
SP, relative of resident at Parkland House
We are so grateful to staff for the care they
are taking to keep the residents safe and
appreciate that wearing masks must be very
difficult. The use of iPads/iPhones to keep in
touch is very welcome, as are the beautiful
cards that staff have helped our loved ones to
make and send. Please pass on our very, very
grateful thanks to all the staff at Plymbridge.
JB, relative of resident at Plymbridge House
Please thank your staff for the
marvellous care and support they
have given to the residents before and
during this awful pandemic.
Please also ask them to pass on our
thanks to their own families and
friends who have clearly supported
them in this situation while many
around them have been able to work
from home or otherwise taken time
away from the perils of attending the
workplace.
BT, relative of resident at Coppelia House
Trust you implicitly and grateful for
everything you and the staff are doing. The
party in June or July is going to be awesome!

The staff at Coppelia continue to provide love and care to my
mum as they always have and it would be crazy to jeopardise
that safe environment now.
