ABOUT ME

2020 September, I graduated as an architect at Konya Technical University in Turkey with a 3.31 general

academic average. Throughout my years in university, I’ve participated in international workshops and tried to

travel as much as I can.

Therefore by 2019 summer, I was an intern in Italy by the Erasmus+ Internship Mobility Program. We worked

on three projects during mobility.

By 2020, I wanted to go abroad again so much, cause I had tremendous experiences after all in Italy, France,

and Holland, it feels so free in the future job field. Thus, I was an Erasmus student in Politechnika Lubelska,

Lublin, Poland when at my last semester for graduation. That’s why instead of this my final graduation project, I

took six different projects.

By 2018 I was an intern on-site at Marmara University, Istanbul. I worked in education buildings. There were 3

buildings. One of them was finished. Two of them were just in construction. I saw 3 steps that macrostructure,

microstructure, and final building via these 3 buildings. I made a lot of quantity takeoff on this construction

site. According to my experience, I love to see the completion of the building. Besides, the formation of the office

environment taught me how to deal with the problems encountered in the completion of the construction.

In the same year, I was an intern in the construction of a dormitory in my first office experience in Ankara, Turkey.

Especially I tried to take different types of project subjects and courses at my university. So I took different

design courses as well as drawing and perspective courses. One of them was a restoration project I took. I am

in love with the restoration. Probably, I aim to do a master’s degree on this subject after the pandemic. I learned

how to be happy in architecture, which was the most important for me. Besides the restoration, I got a

course on the as-built project. Not every university has this course. I learned how to apply the materials in the

real world.

I always love to be part of the international workshops and doing seminars. I was in TOG that is doing international

projects. Now, I am a campus representative at ARCH DSGN Summit - Architectural Design Summit. Also

I am in KTUN Erasmus Community. I like to travel, research, and get to find new details about unknown

things.

THE BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN SILLE/TURKEY

Sille has been sharing the different cultures of the past and present to the living people by

interpreting it with a common culture. Christianity and Islam have gathered different concepts

such as Turk and Rum.

Music is like Sille with a variety of qualities. Two notes can come together to create music.

It is universal. The contacting of two notes in a context allows cultures such as Sille.

DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES

The main target is to feed people from the city and feed them into history, archeology, nature,

THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

IN ARKEOPARK

GEVELE MOUNTAIN / TR

+WHAT IS CONCEPT?

Supporting experiences from different points, not from a single point.

Different experiences to people cherish. To love Gevele, his tory, archeology.

12

DESIGN

Due to the rock structure of Gevele, it is known that the rocks of the upper elevations are

covered with andesite tuff, the intermediate levels are of neogene aged white limestone and the

lower elevations are of calcareous structure. The entrance space contains these structures in 3

layers on rising triangular surfaces.

By integrating with the surface at the back of the staircase from the back of the structure

completely into the corridor offers the opportunity to visit Gevele. The corridors on the 2nd

floor connect to the floor to ensure the serenity of the office workers and remind us of the

historical texture.by the external conditions.

When you arrive at the museum by car, access is made from the main entrance of the parking

lot to the entrance level. The place of origin is a complete focal point.

The main triangular structure and additional triangular structure, the open exhibition area and

the funicular station are located. The main triangular structure closes Gevele’s angle of view with

its highest point and raises curiosity. This mass resembles Gevele with three figurines

3TEXTILE AND PRODUCTION FACTORY IN TURKEY

The building has two entrances.

The first entrance is distributed

to other functions throughout

the exhibition hall, followed by

the sales offices respectively.

The exhibition hall leads to a

prestigious administration department.

The concept of the project is to make people ask the

question “Who am I?”. Clothes are used as tools for answers.

AND EVALUATION

The stages of meditation increase in

proportion to the increase in

awareness. Used as an outfit tool for

answers.

The exhibition hall was aimed to find the

details that they did not realize by making

meditative evaluations for the clothes they

thought were made for them.

18

In the explanation part of each of the Far

Eastern sports outfits, actions that calmed

people were documented.

As this is a special service for the user, it

connects with both clothes and structure.

The production, shipment and administrative functions

of the factory were gathered under the same roof. In accordance

with the conventional understanding, the administrative

department, which is visually detached from

the production structure, is connected with design workshops.

TRADITIONAL HOUSE IN TURKEY

001 / PROJECT GOALS

Dwellings are built to serve a variety of functions. One

of the most important functions is to create living

conditions that are acceptable to their occupants,

particularly in relation to the climate of the region.

002 / DESIGN BRIEF

+WHAT IS CONCEPT?

Buildings do not control the climate; they can only

provide protection from such elements of nature as

the wind, rain or sun etc. However, they can passively

modify the internal climate, even though they are

affected by the external conditions.

003 /MATERIAL CHOICE

Transformation of traditional Turkish House in terms of outdoor ambient quality

The materials that are used for constructing a building,

its orientation and form, the volumes it encloses and

the services that are installed, may all contribute to the

‘micro-climate’ that a house generates.
