Current Ph. D student in Applied Math at York University.
Hà Minh Dzũng (Director at EMC)
BA (York University), MSc, Ph. D (University of Toronto).
Professor of Mathematics at Ryerson University since 2000;
Taught at 4 other universities from 1994-2000.
Ngô Phúc (Director at EMC)
BSc, MSc (Ryerson University).
Current Ph. D student in Applied Math at Guelph University.
Marvin Hoti (Principal at EMC)
BSc, MSc (Ryerson University).

4. EMC Full Time Programs
Tuition fee: 14,950CAD/ 2 semesters/ 8 credits
I. Package A
• 2 semesters of study
• 4 credits courses per semester
• 15 hours of tutoring per semester
• 6 weeks of enrichment summer camp (Mathematics, Physics, Coding)
Tuition fee: 19,950CAD
II. Package A+
Includes Package A with an additional 30 hours of tutoring per semester
and 100 hours in IELTS prep.

• EMC is one of the very few high schools in Ontario that offers a strong program in
coding, an essential skill in many engineering and science programs at colleges
and universities.
• Our school is founded and run by the professors in the Department of Mathematics
at Ryerson University and the Ph. D students in the Ph. D programs of Universities
in Toronto. We are a group of educators who are very passionate about helping
students to achieve their academic objectives and career goals.

6. Covid-19 Updates and
Protocols at EMC

School Closure Assurance Policy
The health and well-being of our staff and students is our number one priority.
We are carefully monitoring the cases of Covid-19, and paying close attention to the Public Health
Agency of Canada and their recommendations.
Toronto Academy of EMC is processed to move all on-site classes with an online platform
instantaneously, if we are required to. In this case:
• Classes were replaced by a live video conference between the teacher and students.
• Additionally, students will have the benefits of accessing our custom-made online platform
which includes additional course content, study plans, a direct line of communication with
teachers and peers, and more
• On-site classes will resume when determined to be a safe and viable option.

7. Students Support: Covid-19 support,
homestay, extracurricular activities
In reponse to the Covid-19 pandemic:
• Toronto Academy of EMC provides numerous scholarships to new and returning students.
Each of the scholarships will support the student for two academic years (2021 - 2022).

Homestay Details
SINGLE ROOM OPTION (Price varies depending on location)
• 1 student in a private room living with / without host family.
• 3 meals a day, 7 days a week.
• Free unlimited Wi-Fi internet access.
• Self serve laundry.
• Self-serve breakfast.
• Self-serve packed lunch.
• Hot dinner provided by host
TWIN ROOM OPTION (Price varies depending on location)
• 2 students in a private room living with / without host family.
• 3 meals a day, 7 days a week.
• Free unlimited Wi-Fi internet access.
• Self-serve laundry.
• Self-serve breakfast.
• Self-serve packed lunch.
• Hot dinner provided by host.
We ensure that the students will not have any outside school/ homestay activities without permission from
parents, guardian or the host.
