Appeal to Vote for Mzee Museveni - 14th Jan 2021

*Appeal to Vote for Mzee Museveni, NRM & Keep Peace for A Better Transition in Future*
Am an East African from the state of Uganda; and this is an appeal to fellow Ugandans to Vote
for President Yoweri Museveni to continue with the Peaceful & stable country & Pan Africanism
at the pinnacle to a better Uganda, EAC & Africa. Uganda has had a unique history that should
be matched with a unique handling.
Some Ugandans/ Africans have continued to fight each other regardless not understanding the
real threat we Africans face now & future & can be returned to another form of slavery. And that
the bigger threat is from out of Africa & some foreigners have come out to openly tell us they work
to keep us disunited!
Ugandans I pray should allow to have a peaceful transition after Mzee Museveni to another
leader, as I believe should be leadership from within NRM/ Ugandans in NRM, not forgetting that
NRM is open to all even current foes can join & be leaders through NRM
President M7 will leave the front stage at one time as he cannot be "RoboPresido" like in the
series of movies in which a police cop that became RoboCop!
I and some fellow Ntare school OBs & some Ugandans I have been interfacing/ interacting/
meeting with, feel this coming term should be his last, thus NRM to plan ahead - as we/they don't
want to see him in a frail state embarrassing himself & all loved-ones & those feeling for him.
In this we should not force a "stillbirth" to peaceful Democratic change in Uganda - NRM
structures should ensure there's a pool of leaders from which future leaders will be mentored &
picked like in other strong parties’ world over; so that Ugandans & Security forces can salute
another leader that comes with peace & grounded on the NRM & Pan-African vision & ideology.
It is no doubt whether we somersault or not that M7 is best ever President Uganda has got, and
we got to build from rewards of his leadership to consolidate the base for the better future.
This is not to say he is an angel, he is human & he and Government could have errored in one
way or other - but that doesn't mean Uganda should pour out the dirty bath water together with
the baby! as lessons are learnt from the mistakes committed to forge ahead. Thus forgive, & stay
united in peace to further personal development.
The Opposition are useful to keep the government in check, but demonizing government on every
opportunity - make themselves look not serious; given that themselves are not democratic from
within the parties they represent!
To East Africa let's try to continue to build unity & not antagonize each other as Uganda will never
migrate to Egypt - but will remain neighbor & member of EAC. We need each other for the agreed
integration process - with each states uniqueness we can't fail to make all positive grounds for a
union for a stronger base & capacity as Africans to shield ourselves our common threats!
Back to Uganda elections - Not voting M7 one might feel I have voted out the NRM government
- when in actual fact NRM is a juggernaut majority at all government levels - of which already
over 1500 leaders in various positions have passed unopposed & a system without the architect

will lead to continued political tensions & a constitutional crisis! reason I emphasize my call that
we keep with Mzee Museveni come 14th January 2021 for a continuous steady flying to have a
better planned landing for him to pass the baton as earlier commented than push for a mayday
& fail to fly again for some time in turmoil.
So ALL NRM Ugandans & those that believe in Mzee M7, let us not feel others will make the
numbers without your vote, No. Let's all Peacefully go & vote President Museveni & NRM
candidates or MP candidates you feel you rightly chose in the primaries for a peaceful & stable
Uganda & East Africa.
As in the Bible, John 10:38, if you don't believe in NRM/ President Museveni at least believe the
seen deeds, works & development of Uganda from ICU, since 1986.
People talk of 34yrs in power being too long stay, but don't appreciate it has been a long hard not
rosy journey; there were insurgencies in North, East & West plus terrorism in central (booms)
&some are forgetting Itongwa grp; So for 20yrs (1986 to 2006) Uganda was not fully at peace &
after then with Uganda being in total peace, have registered great strides & development. Our
comrades in the North, East & Uganda as a whole can now be seen to be blossoming
It is quite exciting seeing young Ugandans moving to work in factories in droves along Kampala
& Jinja highway every morning. Industries have moved out of Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi, back to
Jinja, Mbale, Soroti to Atiak - across Uganda; & this coupled with cottage factories has led to the
manufacturing boom of locally manufactured goods with over 90% of essential goods we used to
import!
Here is a quick pick of the many things President Museveni & NRM have done;
1. Strengthening of UGX currency
2. Economic recovery
3. Peace & security boarder 2boarder
4. Revival of EAC - bigger market
5. Ably curbed HIV/AIDS spread that threatened to wipe off a generation
6. Immunization Vs 6 killer diseases
7. Electricity generation from 60mw to 850Mw + rural electrification
8. Positive BoT with Kenya (1st time in History)
9. Introduced LC system/pple involvement in their governance
10. Constitutional order & rule of law
11. A disciplined & professional army
12. Education: Free education & UG now a regional education hub with 35 universities
13. UG now a global tourist destination - world recognized
14. Expanded safe drinking water outreach
15. Freedom of speech/ expression
16. Improved ICT - E-governance
17. Women & Youth empowerment
18. Infrastructure devt - increased Road network: tarmac & feeder roads
19. Pan-Africanism – Welcoming refugees from almost all neighboring countries
20. Good foreign policy & diplomacy

21. Expanded Agriculture & Rural/farm-gate Incomes thru NAADS & OWC campaign coupled
with Agri-Led program that will tailor make each region to produce what is special & unique to
them.
22. Urban Development, Markets & Creations of Cities
23. Stability & freedom of movement
24. Mineral extraction & processing
25. Support for R&D - innovation & science
26. Sports/ talent development – construction of international standard stadia
27. World respected Intellectual & charisma to work with the West & East
28. Open & transparent electoral process/democracy
29. Able to reconcile & work with foes
30. Open to criticism, abuse/ ridicule & sober 24/7
31. Freedom of Worship
32. Quickly managed the Covid19 situation from the start to control the spread - it's our duty to
heed to the message
33. Revamped All Regional Referral Hospitals & upgraded Health Centre 2,3 & 4s.
34. Has never signed any death sentence to any convict & pardoned many
35. Only president to have managed to stabilize Uganda
For God and My Country!
