Dear Reagan Nation,
It is an exciting time at Reagan and there is a buzz in the air. The much
anticipated 2020 football season is here and it’s time for the Rattlers to go to
work. The spring and summer was very unique as we prepared for this
season. The perseverance and dedication will come to fruition for our young
men and women that have trained tirelessly for the opportunities to compete.
We are looking forward to our new challenges in District 28-6A. Our Senior
class has laid the framework for a successful campaign in this year’s
district race for the title.
The Reagan community welcomes all our new members, and
we know they are going to bring a ton to the table. A special
thanks goes out to the families of our coaches and faculty
who contribute so much to the lives of our studentathletes.
The structure of the Reagan Athletic Program
is built on people. We have and always will win with
people. As a coaching staff, we are fortunate to help
mold so many students, work side-by-side with
administration, and form bonds with the families.
The football team wants to thank the student
body for their support and contagious spirit at the
games. We have the best student section in the
State of Texas. Keep the Rowdy Rattlers rowdy.
The Reagan Football experience would not be
what it is without our award-winning Band, Cheer
and Dance Programs. Thanks to all the Reagan
Rattlers that ride for the brand. You are a spark
behind our winning culture at RHS.
We want to thank the N.E.I.S.D. Administrative Staff for
embracing High School Athletics and allowing our studentathletes
to showcase their talents. A special thanks goes out
to Dr. Sean Maika and Coach Kelly Parker for allowing our
kids to train throughout the summer during an unprecedented
time. The Reagan coaching staff did an amazing job of
keeping our kids in a safe environment as we transitioned back.
The coaching staff reserves a special gratitude to Mrs. Shelton
and her staff for supporting Reagan Athletics and allowing our
program to enhance the educational process.
The 2020 journey has been launched and we will meet every
obstacle head on. The grind, sweat, and forged bonds have
created great team chemistry. It will be a fun ride to be a
part of and we look forward to having you on board.
The Offense, Defense and Kicking Game units are primed for
success, poised and ready for new challenges. Come early and
stay late as we support the Reagan Rattlers.
