PSALM 128 ~ 1 Blessed are all those who fear <strong>the</strong> Lord and walk in his<br />
ways. ² For you shall eat of <strong>the</strong> labors of your hands; it shall be well<br />
<strong>with</strong> you, and happy you shall be. ³ Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine<br />
upon <strong>the</strong> walls of your house, 4 Your children like <strong>the</strong> olive branches<br />
round about your table. 5 Indeed, thus shall <strong>the</strong> man be blessed who<br />
fears <strong>the</strong> Lord. 6 May <strong>the</strong> Lord bless you out of Zion; may you see<br />
Jerusalem in prosperity all your life long. 7 May you see your<br />
children’s children, and may <strong>the</strong>re be peace upon Israel.<br />
EVENING - Placing all cares in God’s hands<br />
PSALM 120 ~ 1 When I was in trouble I called upon <strong>the</strong> Lord, and he<br />
hearkened to my calling. ² Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips<br />
and from a deceitful tongue. ³ What reward shall be given or done<br />
unto you, O false tongue? Even mighty and sharp arrows, <strong>with</strong> hot<br />
burning coals. 4 Woe is me, that I am constrained to dwell in Meshech,<br />
and to have my habitation among <strong>the</strong> tents of Kedar. 5 My soul has<br />
long dwelt among those who are enemies of peace. 6 I labor for<br />
peace, but when I speak to <strong>the</strong>m of it, <strong>the</strong>y make <strong>the</strong>mselves ready<br />
for battle.<br />
PSALM 121 ~ 1 I will lift up my eyes unto <strong>the</strong> hills; from whence comes<br />
my help? ² My help comes from <strong>the</strong> Lord, who has made heaven and<br />
earth. ³ He will not let your foot be moved, and he who keeps you will<br />
not sleep. 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel shall nei<strong>the</strong>r slumber nor<br />
sleep. 5 The Lord himself is your keeper; <strong>the</strong> Lord is your defense<br />
upon your right hand, 6 So that <strong>the</strong> sun shall not burn you by day,<br />
nei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;<br />
indeed, it is he who shall keep your soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve<br />
your going out and your coming in, from this time forth for evermore.<br />
PSALM 123 ~ 1 Unto you I lift up my eyes, you who are enthroned in<br />
<strong>the</strong> heavens. ² Behold, as <strong>the</strong> eyes of servants look to <strong>the</strong> hand of<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir masters, and as <strong>the</strong> eyes of a maiden to <strong>the</strong> hand of her<br />
mistress, ³ Even so our eyes wait upon <strong>the</strong> Lord our God, until he<br />
show us his favor. 4 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us,<br />
for we have suffered more than enough contempt. 5 Long has our<br />
