Relocation a success
The Woomera Village Store is now open in its new location, now located in the Heritage Centre. Opening hours
for the Village Store will remain the same, times can be found below.
Over the course of 2 days many staff contributed to making the move a success with moving all stock from the
old location, refitting shelves and cleaning.
Opening hours for the store:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 8:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday – 8:00am – 7:30pm
Saturday, Sunday – 8:30am – 2:00pm

SNAKES ALIVE!
With warmer weather there have been snake
sightings reported in Woomera and we wish
to alert the community of this.
Reducing the amount of cover available to
snakes will discourage them from moving in
permanently by;
• Removing debris and litter around the yard
(sheets of tin, weeds etc).
• Prune back low hanging branches, keep
grass cut back, and generally remove areas
of low cover that may offer concealment.
• Keep shed doors closed when not in use.

First Week at School
Wow! The Woomera Area School is already off to a
great start with the first week of school. Seeing students
organizing their books, getting into routines and
expectations, and being involved in creating classroom
rules and seeing how things are run at school.
It is a great group of students and together they will have
a fantastic year!

You Are Amazing Card Kit
Date/Time: Tuesday 9 February, 7.00 pm
Location: 4 Gundawarra Street, Woomera
This kit will provide materials to create four gorgeous
cards. I will provide the You Are Amazing Stamp Set and
the required ink pads to use on the night. Additional items
are Stampin' Dimensionals and Stampin' SEAL (or Tear n
Tape); these will be provided for you. Cost is $15.00 for
four cards. Suitable for beginners.

Murray Pest Control will be conducting mist spraying to
the external areas of your home for the management of
Spiders and Ants. A date will be advised in the near
future.
Please prepare for the treatment by:
- Ensuring a clear path around the external walls
and eaves of the house and garden shed.

inside or removed from the property on day of
