WELCOME TO RCI
Racing Club International (RCI) is an Assetto Corsa Competizione focused, sim racing community
managed by members from Europe, Africa & North America that aim to provide high-quality
racing, stewarding & broadcasting to all our events.
RCI was formed after the disbandment of a previously well-established sim racing community
known as Redline Motorsport (RLM). RLM was disbanded by the owner on short notice, leaving
both its staff & community members lost. Fortunately, the remaining staff that wished to carry on
the work they had been doing, banded together to create a new community that would aim to
bring together lost members of the community & forge a new path for the staff & drivers.
RCI is now fully dedicated to making this the best Assetto Corsa Competizione community in the
world with expansion into other major titles like RaceRoom, rFactor2 & even iRacing on the
horizon. If any of the above has piqued your interest in RCI, then be sure to join our Discord where
you can keep up to date with all the amazing racing going on around the community & if you feel
like becoming a part of RCI feel free to reach out to the respective staff members on Discord to
find out how you can get involved behind the scenes.
However, we must acknowledge that the creation of RCI as a community would not have been
possible without the support from RaceDepartment. After the collapse of Redline Motorsport,
RaceDepartment reached out to form a technical partnership with the remaining staff members &
help create this new community now known as RCI.
Finally, all the staff here at RCI want to say thank you for joining our community, watching our
events or supporting us in any other way possible. RCI was born because of the staff members
loyalty to a community we had helped establish & grow, we wanted to continue, and through your
incredible support, we were able to do so.
Thank you very much for believing in us, now, we race on!

The RCI Endurance World Tour 2021, is RCI’s first attempt at a 6-month long Championship with
Endurance Rounds taking place each month. The World Tour will feature a combination of exciting
circuits that are already well established within ACC but will also feature an Endurance Round at
the Donington Park circuit which is due to launch with the British GT DLC later this year.
The World Tour will run 3 Splits across the course of its season, each Split has 40 Teams, with each
Team being comprised of 3-4 Drivers for the whole season. This means that between 360-480
Drivers will be racing for the honour or RCI World Tour Champion within their respective Split.
As stated prior, the World Tour features 6 rounds, each one at a different circuit with only 2 race
lengths being repeated throughout the season. The Championship will start at the home of British
Motorsport with the 3-Hours of Silverstone, this legendary circuit, famous for the hundreds of
races it has hosted since 1948, is the perfect place to start this incredible Championship.
But whilst Silverstone may be the most famous circuit on the calendar, its race is nowhere near the
most prestigious within the World Tour. That accolade belongs to Round 2 of the Championship,
the 24-Hours of Kyalami. Whilst Kyalami is more recently known for its 9-Hour race in GTWC, it
has become a fan favourite race for many ACC drivers, proven by the success it saw in the vote to
determine which circuit would host the 24-Hour for this Championship. Kyalami managed to beat
Zolder, Paul Ricard, Silverstone & even Spa in the public vote to claim its rightful throne.
Earlier on we stated that there would be one repeat race length for this Championship, and that
comes at Round 3 wherein the World Tour drivers will take on the 3-Hours of Donington. This
venue will be one of the most challenging races of the season despite the length of the race being
the combined shortest for the season. This will primarily be down to driver inexperience around
Donington Park as it’s a circuit which is not featured often within sim racing events in general.
There’s plenty more to come though as the second half of the World Tour will feature 3 back-toback
races in which the race lengths are of 6-Hours or more, something never seen before within
RCI. The 8-Hours of Monza will kickstart the second half of the season in style before we head to
France for the 6-Hours of Paul Ricard at the famous Le Castellet circuit. Finally, we’ll head over to
the land of the rising sun wherein the 10-Hours of Suzuka will round out the Championship.
8
The Invitational Split for the World Tour is divided into two classes, Pro & Silver. The Pro Class is primarily filled
with some of the best drivers in ACC. Esports names like Elvin Smith, Darren King, James Parker, Chris Hoeke, Mike
Nobel and many more make up the 23 Pro Class Teams. Without further ado, let’s meet the World Tour Pro Class!
The Orion Race Team (#126 Bentley) has been competing
in RCI Endurance Races since our first Endurance Race
in August 2020, the 6-Hours of Barcelona, and are one
of only a handful of Teams to have entered every single
RCI Endurance Race to date. They’re statistically the most
sucessful Team in RCI history with 4 podiums & 1 win
from 6 RCI Endurance Races. They also won the RCI
Endurance Championship last year with 5 wins in 8 Races.
Their entry features the familiar Italian duo of Matthias
Egger & Fulvio Barozzini, they’ll be joined by Romano
Berinic & Giuseppe Montalbano in an attempt to keep
their run of success going throughout the World Tour.
They’ll face stiff competition from another one of RCI’s
most succesful Teams, FFS Racing (#123 Lexus). The FFS
Racing outfit, widely known for the Esports duo of Mike
Nobel & Andre Franke will be taking to the grid alongside
Gergo Panker & Jarkko Torvinen.
FFS Racing have won 3 of the 4 RCI Endurance Races they
have competed in with Mike Nobel wrapping up 2020 as
the RCI Porsche Cup Season 2 Champion just days after
he and Andre Franke had taken a win in the 9-Hours of
Imola hosted in partnership with Jardier.
Speaking of Jardier (Jaroslav Honzk), he’ll be racing
within the Jardier Community Team (#39 Ferrari) headed
by Valentin Barrier & Krzysztof Maczkowski. Jardier has
finished on the podium in only 1 of his 5 RCI Endurance
Race appearances but has still managed an impressive
collection of wins amongst RCI’s regular Championships.
Speaking of wins in regular Championships, the CDA/
NOP (#899 Bentley) Team sees the Coach Dave Academy
Expert James Parker team up with the Nearly on Pace
duo of Mikael Sundstrom & Alexander Guglia. And if that
wasn’t enough, everyones favourite Esports driver for hire,
Joe McAuley, will also be joining them to create one of
the most exciting driver line-ups in the Championship.
James Parker won the 3-Hours of Nurburgring in the GT4
Class and finished runner-up in the 12-Hours of Bathurst
alongside Samir Ibraimi. Joe McAuley meanwhile, is yet to
finish on the podium in an RCI Endurance Race.
On the topic of podiums, Racing Line Motorsport are
quickly establishing themselves within RCI’s Endurance
Races with back-to back podiums in the 3-Hours of Imola
& the 9-Hours of Imola, the former being a dominant win.
Building on the form they picked up towards the end of
last year, Racing Line Motorsport have submitted 2
entries for the World Tour! The first is the Racing Line
Motorsport #191 Team(#191 Ferrari) of Marek Schinz,
Kevin Siclari & Samuel Ratz. The Racing Line Motorsport
#194 is in the hands of the Akos Gyetvan, Marco Macri,
Matteo Catozzi & Bence Matyasi.
Whilst plenty of Teams in the World Tour are hoping to
build on momentum gathered towards the end of last
year, others are hoping to put their demons to bed with
a positive start to 2021. This could be no further from the
truth for the PCDC Motorsports Team.
The PCDC Motorsports (#12 McLaren) Team haven’t had
the best of luck in RCI’s Endurance Events. From crashing
out of the 3-Hours of Spa to being turned around on the
first lap of the 9-Hours of Imola, they’ve had their fair
share of bad luck & driver errors. But the PCDC squad of
Marcus Lawrence, Vincent Erbrich, Till Vornam & Thomas
Arensman will be hoping to put that behind them.
Another Team hoping to turn their fortunes around is the
PiNK Performance Team (#25 Audi). If the name doesn’t
sound familiar to you, that’s not too surprsing, the Team
used to go by the name Mucke Motorsport but have
rebranded themselves for 2021 but still carry the same
goal as before, race to win, no more, no less.
Their Team only attended 2 of RCI’s 6 Endurance Races
last year, the 3-Hours of Nurburgring & the 3-Hours of
Imola, and as such only have 1 Top 10 finish to show for.
The Team is still headed by Wolff Mattuschka, Phil Vitt &
Mitja Bonca, but this time they’re joined by Daniel Ferrier.
Whilst a significant portion of the grid are Teams that
have established themselves within RCI via our regular
Championships & Events or via our Endurance Races,
this isn’t the case for every Team participating within the
World Tour. Some of them have only competed in 1 RCI
Event entirely, which means they must crazy fast to earn a
spot in the Pro Class already, right?
9
Well, this is the case concerning for the GTWR Racing
Team (#34 Lamborghini), they made their debut in the
3-Hours of Imola after wrapping up the SimGrid World
Cup 2020 with 3 wins from 4 races, an impressive feat for
any Team, nevermind one competing at Esports level.
Their entry consists of Andrea Benedetti, Corrado Ciriello,
Roberto Scorpati & Chris Harteveld. They’ll be looking
to replicate the success of the Team that dominated the
SimGrid World Cup 2020.
Standing in their way though will be a familiar foe, and
a name we’re getting quite familiar with across the RCI
Endurance Races. The SideMaxMotorworks Team, like
Racing Line Motorsport, has 2 entries.
The first is the SideMax Motorworks (#95 Mercedes)
piloted by Sam Cairns, Owen Wenlock, Lukas Kreuzer &
Marcell Fuzy. The SideMax Motorworks (#96 Audi) lines
up with the familiar sight of Killian Ryan-Meenan, Niels
van de Koekelt, Michael Kundakcioglu & George Boothby.
Whilst this doesn’t cover all the Teams present within the
Pro Class of the World Tour, there are plenty more to look
out for as the Renwelten Pro Team, Griphax Engineering,
Odox Motorsport, Dalking Community Team & ODB
Racing are all going to be taking part as well!
10
Whilst the Pro Class is expected to draw most of the attention throughout the Championship, there is little reason
to dismiss the Silver Class, despite its title, this field is full of drivers that are more than qualified to race in the Pro
Class under normal circumstances, but were just short of the mark this time around. Let’s run through them then!
For starters, we have a Team which has been around the
blocks more times than even they can remember. The
Triple R (#333 McLaren) Team take to the World Tour with
their eyes on the prize of becoming the World Tour Silver
Class Champions.
Their line-up consists of fan favourite Billy Octane, RCI
Admin Harry Conway, Ismael Labrecque & RCI Steward
Mia Swensen. Whilst they don’t hold any podiums to their
name within RCI Endurance Races, Triple R has seen
plenty of success within RCI’s regular Championships,
with Harry Conway as the reigning Night Owl Champion.
Joining them in Silver Class field is the Connection Lost
Racing (#404 Ferrari) Team. As a Team, Connection Lost
Racing have had mixed success in RCI’s Endurance Races.
Having made an appearance in all 6 RCI Endurance Races
so far they finished on the podium twice, however, both
of those podiums came within the GT4 Class.
Bart Matyja leads the line-up with Ondrej Dedecek, Peter
Roche & Martin Lorenc rounding out their entry. They’ll
be hoping that this Championship will be their best
chance to snatch that elusive RCI Endurance Race win.
Not to be outdone though, the GC Racing Team will also
be aiming to claim their first RCI Endurance Race win
throughout the World Tour. The closest they’ve come to
the podium in an RCI Endurance Race was in the 3-Hours
of Nurburgring where they finished 5th.
But this time, things are different, because GC Racing has
brought 2 Teams to this Championship, and they plan
don’t plan on playing nice. The GC Racing #1 (#411 BMW)
is headed by Martin Schumacher, Marco Ripper & Stefan
Zero. Meanwhile, the GC Racing #2 (#514 Lexus) is
piloted by Tobias Geider, Stephan Qui, Christian Bock &
David Migzorn. It’s all or nothing for GC Racing.
They aren’t the only Team fielding 2 entries though, as
the Buttler-Pal Motorsport Team have also got 2 Teams
competing for the title of Silver Class Champion.
Their first entry, the Buttler-Pal Motorsport #555 (#555
McLaren) is under the supervision of SRO Esports driver
Nicolas Hillebrand, he’ll be joined by SimGrids very own
Luke Rogers, Nicky Hays & Aamir Thacker.
Their second entry, the Buttler-Pal Motorsport #556 (#556
Aston Martin) will be under the control of Aiden Browe,
Johannes Weiss, Alexander Biasizzo & Richard Schaefer.
Whilst some Teams are focused on fielding as many
entries as possible to get at least one of them on the top
step of the podium, other are more concerned about
fielding a single entry with all their available talent.
The OTL Racing (#21 McLaren) Team are the latter. Whilst
OTL themselves are mostly known for their community
racing across multiple sims, their ACC Team is nothing to
be ashamed of. Joe Le Coree, Kieran Sharp, Andrew Pike
& Jonathan Atkinson complete an impressive line-up for
OTL in their attempt to overthrow the established.
Another Team focused on fielding the best line-up they
can is the Pole Position Racing (#1 Porsche) Team. They
took Pole Position, oddly enough, for the 6-Hours of
Barcelona under the WeShite Team Name.
Both Nicolas Bosselet & Lukas Rommel were part of the
Team that finished 7th at the 6-Hours of Barcelona due
to a gridding error that forced them to start from the
pitlane. They’ll be joined by Cody Pryde & Wout Vervoort
to round out their line-up for the World Tour.
Not all Teams are fielding multiple line-ups within the
same class though, and the Open Visor Racing Club #777
(#777 McLaren) Team is a prime example. OVRC have
a Team competing within the Pro & Silver Class for the
World Tour to see if they stand a chance at claiming a
Double-Crown Championship.
The Silver Class OVRC Team is driven by Sebastien
Brunier, Tom Pottage, John Dalton & Thomas Olsen. With
their focus being split across multiple classes, it’ll be
interesting to track how both Teams perform.
OVRC aren’t alone in this effort though, as the Jardier
Community Team has also fielded a Silver Class car to
split their focus across multiple classes. The Jardier
Community Team 2 (#84 Aston Martin) is in the hands of
Mike Williams, Stuart Clarke, Alexander Secher & Nico
Laukkarinen. It’s looking tasty already in the Silver Class!
11
We aren’t done yet though as the Team Zero Bad Luck
(#247 McLaren) will be another Team to keep your eyes
on this season. Leo Hirvonen will lead the line-up along
with Matthew Kennedy & David Kelly.
But keeping them in check will be the SIMSNRIGS (#59
Audi) Team. They’ve featured in several Endurance Races
across multiple communities last year but are yet to make
their mark in the top Split of an RCI Endurance Race. Ibee
Atta is joined by Nedim Zeco & Chris Cooper for the
season as they gear up for the World Tour.
A Team that has left their mark on an RCI Endurance Race
is the 300 Ping Motorsport (#300 Mercedes) Team. They
finished as the winners of the 6-Hours of Barcelona in the
AM Class but have failed to replicate that performance in
any of their future endeavours in the top Split.
The Team retains the original trio of Erik Engman, Jeroen
Remmers & Adrien Stefanello from that event but have
now added Alex Gal to their line-up to bolster their pace.
It’s also worth noting that the Excel Racing Team (by
Renwelten), Cryonics Racing, 2SRL Esports & MSVR will
also be joining the aforementioned field of cars for the
season. This is definitely worth keeping an eye on!

KYALAMI
18
KYALAMI GRAND PR
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Founded: 1961 (Last changed 2016)
Length: 2.85 MI / 4.58 KM
Lap Record: 1:41.581 (Honda NSX GT3, 2020)
Kyalami is the crown jewel of South African
racing circuits with a history stretching back to
1961, the circuit has hosted international racing
series at multiple points throughout its history.
21 South African GP’s, a 9-Hour Endurance Race
hosted by SRO’s IGTC and the hopes of a WEC
debut in 2022 means the circuit has a lot going
in its favour to solidify its place as the greatest
racing circuit on the African continent.
Kyalami originally started out in a much more
simplified state than the layout seen today. The
straight between Sunset & Barbeque did not
exist and the circuit ran in a clockwise direction
instead of the anti-clockwise direction today.
Corners like Mineshaft, The Crocodiles &
Cheetah wouldn’t begin to exist until 1993 when
Kyalami went through a massive reprofile of its
layout to move the start/finish straight &
paddock to a more convenient location.
After the major reprofile of the circuit, changes
would still be made to the layout to improve
the circuit safety and attract international racing
back to the circuit after Formula 1’s departure in
1985 due to a controversial South African law.
The desire to see a South African GP again was
delivered in 1992 & 1993 but was short-lived
due to their financial struggles. Kyalami’s efforts
to attract international racing had succeeded
but at the cost of not being able to afford to
host a Formula 1 GP for the foreseeable future.
19
2014 would be the light at the end of the
tunnel for the circuit though as a new investor
acquired the circuit and invested a significant
amount of resources into getting Kyalami up
to an FIA Grade 2 venue. From then onwards
the appearance of IGTC’s 9-Hour event and the
possibility of a WEC race in 2022 meant Kyalami
had finally recovered its international status.

QUALIFYING RECAP
Qualifying for the 24-Hours of Kyalami would take place
one week before the event itself and would be split into
a 30-minute Qualifying session followed by the Top 10
teams heading into a one lap Superpole session to decide
the front 5 rows of the grid ahead of this weeks race.
The RennWelten Pro Team #249 would be the first car to
start a flying lap and their Lamborghini managed a solid
1:40.473 to get the times going but was immediately beat
by The SideMax Motorworks #96 Audi who would go to the
top of the charts with a 1:40.122 after the first few laps.
The GTWR Racing Team #34 Lamborghini would be the
first car to break the 39 barrier with 24 minutes to go. A
1:39.897 would be the best their team could manage in the
session, but quicker times were coming from those behind.
The SideMax Motorworks #96 Audi would go back to the
top of the timings with 9-minutes to go before a brilliant
lap from the CDA/NoP #899 Bentley would see them go
fastest on the last lap of the Qualifying session.
With Qualifying officially over it would be the CDA/NoP team that would top the timing sheets for
the Qualifying session with a 1:39.846 to assert themselves as Pole Position contenders.
SideMax Motorworks #96, GTWR Racing Team, Open Visor Racing Club #199, Racing Line
Motorsport #191, Odox Motorsport, RennWelten Pro Team, Orion Race Team, PiNK Performance &
Like And Subscribe Team would all make it through to the Superpole session as well.
The CDA/NoP team would be the first to head out on track
for Superpole and would set a 1:40.377 to give everyone
after them a benchmark to follow. This time would be
beaten almost immediately though as the SideMax
Motorworks #96 team would come out after them to set a
1:40.065, a time that would prove difficult to beat.
Get beaten it would be though as the GTWR Racing Team
would be the only team capable of claiming the honour of
Pole Position for the 24-Hours of Kyalami with a 1:40.014.
Following up would be the Open Visor Racing Club #199
with a 1:40.359, their time wouldn’t be beaten by the next
team as the Racing Line Motorsport #191 would only
manage a 1:40.422 leaving them at the back of the Top 10.
Odox Motorsport would then see out a 1:40.347, quickly
followed by the RennWelten Pro Team’s 1:40.230 and the
Orion Race Team’s 1:40.248. The PiNK Performance team
would set a 1:40.314 and the Like And Subscribe Team
would end the Superpole with a 1:40.326.

THE NEW STANDARD IN DRIVER COACHING!
RaceFace is one of the most prominent sim racing communities in South Africa, leading the way
with ACC leagues and endurance races to grow participation in the sport, but also improving the
level of skill and competition, RaceFace now provides driver training through a newly founded
division called Speed Labs, headed by South Africa’s very own Jordan Sherratt & Bruno Cadilhe.
Speedlabs offer a variety of services to sim racers of all skill levels, from beginner to pro, Speed
Labs can help you identify your weaknesses, analyse your driving style and correct your mistakes.
Training sessions cover a wide variety of topics from sim racing basics & car setup, all the way up
to racecraft & race strategy, whatever you need to improve, Speed Labs have the answers.
We also offer group sessions wherein you can save money and train together with your teammates
in preparation for your next big team event or you can get a detailed analysis of your replays if
some quick tips & feedback is all you need to improve your lap times.
Driver Coaching Sessions
Replay Reviews
$45.00/Session $55.00/Session $65.00/Session $25.00/Person $10.00/Replay $20.00/Replay
The good news doesn’t end there though, because thanks to the partnership between RaceFace
& Racing Club International you can save money on what is already an incredible value service. By
using the RCI Affiliate Code “RCICoaching” you can save on your next Speed Labs session!
You can find more information about all of the services above by visiting the RaceFace website.
Whilst you’re there, check out some of their Events & Championships as they are always looking to
accommodate drivers of all skills levels into their community.
