2021 Titan Volleyball Season Information

In preparation for this season’s home matches, we ask that you be aware of the following.
• Spectators attending volleyball matches this year will be limited to 25 home team guests. The total number of
25 guests inside the gym does not include the participants and essential personnel.
• The JV match is considered a separate event from the Varsity match, therefore allowing us the opportunity to
host 25 guests for the JV match and 25 guests for the Varsity match.
• Unfortunately, the JV players count against our allowed 25 spectators for the Varsity match. As a result, we ask
that the JV players leave the facility at the conclusion of the JV contest with their parents or guardians.
• JV guests will need to exit the gym immediately at the conclusion of the JV match, thus allowing our Varsity
guests to enter the gym. We will also sanitize chairs and equipment between matches at this time.
• Varsity guests will need to wait for JV guests to exit the gym prior to entering. We will utilize the gym lobby as
well as the adjacent hallway as a waiting area for our Varsity guests.
• Each player will be allotted 2 guests (tickets) for each home match. We will have a spreadsheet with each
player’s name and a column for Guest 1 and Guest 2. Guests will initial in the column for the player their
attending for prior to purchasing their tickets. Tickets are $5.00 each.
• All spectators must agree to wear a face covering over their mouths and nose for the entirety of the event.
• Guests not sharing the same household should maintain at least six feet of social distancing while in the
bleachers. Multiple announcements will be made during the matches reminding guests of this expectation.
• Concessions will not be sold at this time for the 2021 Volleyball season.
• HVHS spectators will not be permitted to attend any away matches. Should any changes occur to Executive
Order 72 increasing the number of spectators allowed indoors, this could potentially change.
• For individuals who cannot attend our events in person, please consider purchasing a subscription to the NFHS
Network. Many of our district and region opponents are also members of the NFHS Network which allows
those with a subscription the opportunity to watch our away games as well.
