Wednesdays In Lent
7 Symbols of Ash
We will be considering
the different meanings of Ash
throughout Lent in 2021. Each
Wednesday one of these
meanings will be the focus of the
Wednesday evening sermon.
Throughout the day you are
invited to come to schedule time
to come into the sanctuary to
pray and two walk through prayer
stations designed to reflect
on Loss, Mortality, Emptiness,
Weakness, Repentance,
Shame, Purity.
Prayer Stations
Register for a time to go
through the 7 Symbols of Ash
Stations one time (or more)
during Lent. You and your
COVID family will be the only
people in the sanctuary at the
time and other COVID protocols
will be in place as well. You

Times will be available 9am-
7pm on Wednesdays in Lent.
Worship
Worship with Holden
Evening Prayer and a sermon
will be premiered at 7pm each
Wednesday on Facebook and
YouTube.
Holy Week in a Box
Boxes are ready to be picked
up at the church so that your
household can have worship
and devotional materials for
Holy Week. The boxes contain
objects that help us reflect on
Jesus’ passion and resurrection
for us. Please let us know if you
can pick up a box and deliver it to
other members who are not able
to come and get it themselves.

Zoom ID and Passcode as
Sunday Worship.

Alter Guild
One of our faithful
members, Leslie
Noborikawa, cannot
serve on Sunday
mornings, so she
sets out communion
glasses for pick-up
on Saturday when
she cleans the church.
For those who have
not attended worship
service in person, we
have included a picture
here so you know how
News
it is set up. The duties
of Altar Guild servers
are reduced to setting
up the altar, lighting the
candles and cleaning
up after service. If
you can attend worship
in person and would
like to learn, please
contact Linda Reed at

to set up a time to train
in the duties of the Alter
Guild.
