recreational fishing in Queensland
waters. All vessels powered by a
motor of more than 6 HP must be
registered and operated by a licenced
driver. Vessels have minimum safety
equipment requirements, vessel
operators should check the
requirements before venturing out.
Vessel operators should also log on
with the local Coast Guard advising of
the destination and time of return.
In Queensland there are a number
of areas closed to taking some fish,
