foreword.

We are so proud to partner with YNC and present Thriftbusu to you after
a semester of constant changes in campus life. The thrifting community
that we envision is one that is a tight-knit, social space and we have done
our best to translate that kinship into a socially-distanced and pandemicfriendly
event.
Why should you thrift? With the onset of the current pandemic,
lockdowns globally have seen a rise in online fast fashion hauls- with
stocks of companies rising 21% amidst the pandemic. All the while,
conditions in garment factories are worsening.
The time to make a switch in consumer habits is now -- be a part of this
circular economy and engage in sustainable fashion choices. We hope that
as you partake in this physical thrift experience, you will find timeless
pieces that will become an intentional staple in your wardrobe.
Note: The team was socially distanced at all times during the shoot, masks were only removed during
individual photos and photographers were always masked.

& vintage denim jacket. Each patch on the jacket is unique
but there's more space to collect your own.

This cotton-linen blend shirt is comfortable
and a staple in any wardrobe. A material that's
cooling enough for Singapore's sun, this shirt
is perfect for a cafe hang-out.

For a retro night-out, pair an off-shoulder ribbed
blouse with a granny square cover-up.
Beret is optional!

waiting game.
This corduroy set is worth waiting for. Consists of
a cropped jacket and slim fit pants with an elastic
waist. Wear it as a pair or style as separates.

Another take on a classic go-to look if you're
late for class. The ribbed inner shirt adds
texture for a more unique look. Paired here
with a suede outer & pure cotton denim jeans.

run.
Never run out of style even when satisfying
those midnight hunger pangs— this red knit and
deceiving plaid shorts (yes, shorts!) affirm you
with comfort and style while you’re browsing
through the aisles for snacks in the middle of the
night.

An off-the-shoulder blouse in a delicate pastel
sage green. Puff-sleeved and tapers in at the waist
before separating into pleated panels.

The monochromatic dream: snake-printed oneshoulder
bandeau, houndstooth trousers.
All wrapped up in a delicate blazer.

This cream mandarin collar shirt is a comfortable
take on a smart casual dress code. Dress it up with
dark trousers and a classic sneaker.

This cherry red knit pairs beautifully with a highwaisted
flared jeans. A highly versatile piece that you
can also style fully buttoned up or as a cardigan.
