A warm welcome to our CLC family through

our new “The Insider”. An iniave to make

our staff feel connected to each other as

well as provide insight into the happenings

within both CLC and in general.

I know that the Markeng team has

wonderful plans to make this newsleer

2020 was plagued – excuse the pun- with

immense uncertainty, virtual meengs and

being ‘trapped’ indoors. And as most of us

worked from home for the majority of the

year, we may feel disconnected from

society, and our colleagues.

However, a new year brings new

opportunies and challenges. In light of

things we are hoping this newsleer helps

us all feel a bit more connected to one

another as we tackle our 2021 goals.

Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic wreaked

havoc on our ability to travel and effecvely

unwind.

So, to avoid ‘burning out’ in 2021, our

Human Resource Department would like to

remind all of you that it is compulsory that

all employees take a minimum of 5

consecuve days annual leave during a 12

month leave cycle.

Tyre and rim claims are up almost 50% - Are our poor road

condions to blame?

“Between January 2020 and January 2021, Auto & General Insurance has noced a

spike of 47% in tyre and rim claims, raising the queson of whether poor road

maintenance is to blame.” – Sunday World

South Africa is not known for maintaining their infrastructure, and it can be seen in

our roads. According to Sunday World, there has been significant increases observed

in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Mpumalanga in the last year.
