Art and fashion have always been such a huge influence in my life.
Whether that be modeling, styling, doing photo shoots, or lending
my keen eye for aesthetics- wearing various different hats and
becoming a jack-of-all-trades seems to be a path I’m on. If you were to ask
me what I want to do, who I want to be, I’d probably stare back at you with
a blank expression. The simplest answer to that would be a creative director
(or a human disaster, if you will). I’ve always envisioned myself being
my own boss— cliché, I know. Owning a brand where I’m
able to dictate my own rules, set my own standards, and
not have anyone or anything undermine what it is I
create would be ideal. When I think back to all that
I’ve done at this point, it's clear that a creative of
some sort is what I’m gearing up to be. Funny
thing is, I still have no clue. I guess when you
have so many interests you don’t know where
exactly to begin. It’s not that I don’t have
goals, aspirations, or even resolutions (and
granted it sounds a lot darker than it
actually is) but, the truth of the matter is
that being in this free-flowing state has
been the best thing yet. Living in a
world where things have become
so unpredictable, it’s almost
mandatory for you to priorize
yourself. Taking the time to master your
craft while also having the flexibility to go in
any and all directions. I draw my biggest
inspirations from badass, strong women,
such as Lady Gaga and Nadia Lee Cohen.
I admire how they’re able to find this
liminal space in which they can
bring their vision to life. A space in
which they walk the fine line
between evolving and realizing
that the current version of them
selves is the vessel for channeling
their inner creative genius.
Becoming a visionary.
