High protection as standard.<br />

Airbags<br />
RAV4 is fitted with seven airbags as standard. This includes dual-stage driver and<br />
front passenger airbags, front side airbags, curtain shield airbags across the front and<br />
rear side windows and a driver’s knee airbag. A cut-off switch allows you to deactivate<br />
the front-passenger airbag when a child seat is being used.<br />
Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) seats<br />
The front seats incorporate second-generation WIL concept technology, with<br />
headrests that move forward to reduce the risk of neck injury when there’s a<br />
rear collision.<br />
