Ultimo nato dalla ricerca SiggiLAB, il tessuto Marte è un materiale protettivo composto da al 100% da cotone

a fibra lunga. La composizione totalmente naturale e la particolare costruzione del tessuto che favorisce uno

stretch meccanico, contribuiscono ad offrire un altissimo standard di comfort. Il trattamento brevettato flame

retardant garantisce la protezione fino a 100 cicli di lavaggio a 60° per il lavaggio domestico e 75° per il lavaggio

industriale.

Latest outcome of Siggi LAB research, MARTE fabric is a protective material made 100% of long fiber cotton.

Its totally natural composition and the specific construction, that facilitates a mechanical stretch, ensure an high

comfort level. Its protection performance is granted until 100 washings at 60 c° for domestic washiing and 75

C° for industrial washing.

Altra novità 2018 di Siggi Lab: il tessuto Giove, a composizione prevalente di cotone con l’aggiunta di fibra in poliestere

ed antistatica è molto confortevole e grintoso grazie alla costruzione in twill 2/2, la sua struttura inoltre

IL DIRITTO ALLA SALUTE E ALLA

SICUREZZA NEI LUOGHI DI LAVORO

HEALTH AND SAFETY PRTECTION IN

WORKPLACES

I Dispositivi di Protezione Individuale possono garantire quello che l’Unione Europea considera un diritto

fondamentale: il diritto alla salute e alla sicurezza sul luogo di lavoro. Questo diritto è garantito dall’Unione

Europea che ha definito i requisiti essenziali per la salute e la sicurezza che devono essere rispettati dai

produttori, dagli importatori e dai distributori di DPI.

Le norme di sicurezza ed igiene del lavoro attualmente in vigore (D.Lgs. 81/2008), prevedono un organizzazione

della sicurezza che privilegi sempre le misure di prevenzione e pertanto l’utilizzo di un Dispositivo

di Protezione Individuale è quindi sempre subordinato alla corretta verifica dell’avvenuta attuazione di tutti

i possibili accorgimenti per la limitazione o eliminazione dei fattori di rischio. L’identificazione dei DPI e la

valutazione dei rischi sono attuate dal Datore di lavoro, in collaborazione con il Responsabile del Servizio

Protezione e Prevenzione (RSPP) e/o il Medico del lavoro.

Il nuovo Regolamento UE 2016/425, entrato in vigore il 21 Aprile 2018, sostituendo la Direttiva 89/686/CEE,

prevede un’estensione di responsabilità agli operatori economici coinvolti. Tutti gli operatori economici

che intervengono nella catena di fornitura e distribuzione dovrebbero adottare misure atte a garantire che

siano messi a disposizione sul mercato solo DPI conformi al suddetto Regolamento per raggiungere un

elevato livello di salvaguardia ,nonché una concorrenza leale sul mercato.

Protezione da rischi intermedi

DPI di progettazione complessa destinati a salvaguardare da rischi di morte o di lesioni

gravi e di carattere permanente.

COSA DEVE FARE IL PRODUTTORE

Il produttore o l’importatore deve fornire la necessaria documentazione tecnica in funzione della categoria

a cui appartiene il DPI. Obbligatoriamente per tutte le categorie:

• Fascicolo tecnico del prodotto

• Marcatura CE sul prodotto

• La dichiarazione di conformità UE

• Le istruzioni del Fabbricante (Nota informativa)

Per le categorie II e III è necessario seguire una procedura di valutazione della conformità che prevede

l’esame CE da parte di un Organismo Notificato e, nel caso della III categoria, anche della sorveglianza

periodica della produzione.

COSA DEVE FARE IL DISTRIBUTORE

• Verificare la presenza della marcature CE e della dichiarazione di conformità UE

• Non immettere il DPI sul mercato se vi fosse un dubbio sulla conformità, avvisare il fabbricante o l’importatore

se il prodotto risultasse pericoloso.

• Garantire che le condizioni di immagazzinamento o di trasporto non alterino la conformità del DPI

• Adottare i correttivi necessari se un DPI non risulti conforme o ritirarlo dal mercato e se risultasse pericoloso

avvisare le autorità di vigilanza

• Fornire la necessaria documentazione, a seguito di richiesta, per dimostrare la conformità del DPI

• Se il distributore immette sul mercato un DPI con il proprio nome o marchio o modifica un DPI, è considerato

fabbricante con relativi obblighi.

The Personal Protective Equipment can preserve a basic human right: the right of working in a safe and healthy

place. This is granted by European Union that settled down the essential requirements for health and

safety, compulsory for each manufacturer, importer or distributor of PPE.

Current safety regulations (D.Lgs 81/2008) consider a system management that endorse all the possible

prevention actions, thereforce the use of any PPE device comes after the essential limitation of the risks with

any possible precaution and expedient.

Risk evaluation and PPE identification are duties of the employer, in cooperation with the Prevention and

Safety Manager and the workplace doctor.

As for European Union, the present regulation UE 2016/425 extends the responsability of the risk prevention

to all the parties involved in the production and supply chain. All the players should act in order to grant that

the PPE devices produced and sold are compliant to the european regulations. This will take tp an higher

level of safety and prevention, as well as a global fair competition .

These are simple design PPE that cover the lowest level for a limited risk of severe consequences;

(superficial injuries, prolonged contact with water or hot surfaces, under

50°C, non extreme weather conditions)

Covers products intended to be used in environments with risk for severe, but no fatal

consequences. The products must be tested and certified by a notified body.

Complex PPE for environments where the user can be exposed to mortal danger or to

dangers that may may seriously and irreversibly harm health.

PRODUCER OBLIGATIONS

The producer or the importer should supply the complete technical documentation depending on the PPE

category. For all categories is mandatory to supply:

Technical dossier of the product

CE marking on the product

CE compliance declaration

Producer instructions for the use (Information Sheet)

For II° and III° categories it is mandatory to obtain the CE compliance validation by a Certiying Body; for III°

category also a periodic monitoring of production.

DEALER OBLIGATIONS

The dealer should check the CE mark and the UE compliance declaration supplied by the producer.

He must not launch in the market any PPE whose conformity is not sure, advise the producer if the PPE is

supposed to be dangerous.

Ensure safe warehouse and transport conditions.

Pull back a PPE that could be dangerous or not compliant and advise the Authority.

Supply the customer with the technical sheets, in order to prove the PPE compliance.

If a dealer launch on the market a PPE with his name, he’s considered as a producer with related obligations.

Protective clothing against rain

Questa norma si applica ai materiali e alle cuciture per i capi che

proteggono da fattori atmosferici quali pioggia, nebbia, umidità del

suolo e neve. Essa prevede due principali requisiti: la resistenza alla

penetrazione dell’acqua (x) e la resistenza evaporativa (y) che determina

la traspirabilità del capo.

This standard is applicable to the materials and seams of protective

clothing against foul weather such as rain, fog, ground humidity and snow.

Protective clothing against cold environment

La norma UNI EN 342 specifica i requisiti dell’abbigliamento di

protezione contro il freddo. Per ambiente freddo si intende un luogo

con temperature pari o inferiori a -5 ° C. Questo valore dipende non

soltanto dalla temperatura dell’aria ma anche dalla presenza di umidità

e vento.

you well protected from the cold.

A cold environment is characterised by a temperature of -5 °C or lower,

measured not just on the basis of air temperature, but considering

studiati per ciascuna tipologia di rischio.

• MULTIPRO: indumenti di protezione contro l’esposizione al calore

e l’effetto termico dell’ARCO ELETTRICO; spruzzi di liquidi

chimici e cariche elettrostatiche. DPI utilizzabili in ambienti ATEX

poiché non creano il rischio di innesco esplosione da parte di cariche

elettrostatiche.

• WELDING MARTE: protezione garantita dai tessuti ignifughi che

rendono il capo ideale per i lavori di saldatura e procedimenti

connessi.

• VINEX: protezione contro l’esposizione al calore integrato, dalla

fibra Vinex, consigliata nella lavorazione e fusione dell’alluminio.

• ALTA VISIBILITÀ: per consentire una immediata visibilità in qualsiasi

situazione metereologica, di giorno e di notte.

• ANTIACIDO: protezione contro spruzzi di liquidi chimici.

• ANTISTATICO: indumenti protettivi contro le cariche elettrostatiche.

• ANTIMPIGLIAMENTO: indumenti di protezione in caso di presenza

e rischio di impigliamento con parti in movimento.

processo tecnologico per lasciare che le proprietà ritardanti di

fiamma si formino nella struttura stessa del tessuto trattato. Il

trattamento penetra profondamente nella fibra del tessuto, in

modo tale da garantire la protezione per molti cicli di lavaggio.

• Ottimi requisiti di repellenza all’acqua e resistenza alla

penetrazione degli acidi, sostanze alcaline, grassi e olio dati dal

trattamento Multi Risk.

lavaggio a 60 ° C per il lavaggio domestico e 75° C per il lavaggio

• Indossando un completo di capi con diversi livelli di protezione, il

The regulation referring to protective clothing against thermal

hazards of electric arc has been recently updated and the

pictogram has been changed.

Siggi HITECH garments are compliant with the new 2018

poliester and antistatic fiber added.

• Comfort ensured by the specific construction of the fabric that

facilitates a mechanichal stretch.

• High protective performance thanks to the flame retardant

treatment, an international patented process approved as one

of the best fire resistant treatments for cotton fabrics. The fabric

after a pre treatment with a specific chemical mixture, is exposed

to a sophisticated technical process so that the flame retardant

properties are formed inside the structure of the fabric. The

treatment permeates the fiber of the fabric thus granting a long

lasting protection for several washings.

• High antistatic performance thanks to the antistatic fiber.

• Thanks to the MultiRisk treatment the fabric has excellent

waterproof features and whitstands the penetration of acids,

alkaline substances, grease and oil.

• Protection performance granted until 100 washings at 60 c° for

domestic washiing and 75 C° for industrial washing.

• Tear resistant, comfortable and fierce thanks to the twill

construction 2/2.

• End use: oil&Gas industry, plants construction industry and oil

pipelines.

• When wearing garments with different levels of protection, the

lowest one sets the general protection level

• The PPE must cover the operator completely.

Protective clothing. General requirements.

Il tessuto VINEX è una mischia composta di 85% di

fibra VINAL resistente alla fiamma e 15% di RAYON

POLINOSICO. Caratteristica integrante della fibra VINAL

è l’effetto ritardante, il quale non può essere rimosso

attraverso il lavaggio. Un altro requisito fondamentale

ai fini dell’uso industriale è la resistenza all’esposizione

al calore fino alle temperature sopra i 204 °C. Questo

tessuto mostra la sua particolare capacità di far scivolare

gli spruzzi di alluminio fuso, impedendo il diffondersi

della fiamma attraverso l’autoestinzione.

Tutte queste caratteristiche rendono il tessuto VINEX il

candidato ideale per gli indumenti protettivi nell’ambito

professionale della lavorazione dell’alluminio.

* Livelli prestazionali:

- B1 Calore convettivo da 4 a 10 HTI a) 24s;

- C1 Calore radiante da 7 a 20 RHTI a) 24s;

Vinex is a fabric composed by 85% VINAL fiber –

flame resistant and 15% RAYON POLINOSIC. This fiber

retards the flame and cannot be removed with washing.

It is important to say, for the industrial purposes, that

it resists to temperature of more that 204°. Specially

suitable to let the aluminum splashes slip away thus

permitting to the flame to extinguish.

VINEX is therefore the ideal fabric for processing

aluminum.

Gli indumenti della linea Siggi Hitech Anticido sono

studiati per l’impiego in ambienti e nelle situazioni

dove l’operatore è esposto a rischi chimici derivati da

piccoli spruzzi di liquidi, spray, aerosol etc.

Sono progettati in modo che non ci siano parti in cui

il liquido può venire a contatto con il corpo, né tanto

meno parti in cui una sostanza possa ristagnare per un

tempo indeterminato.

Il tessuto certificato per questo tipo di impiego è

MERAKLON (100% fibra polipropilenica) del peso

di ca. 200gr/m2 e proposto in colore blu navy. Esso

assolve agli adempimenti sopra descritti e mantiene

inoltre buone caratteristiche di resistenza all’usura e

ai trattamenti igienici, è irrestringibile e non perde la

colorazione, è di facile manutenzione e non dà luogo

ad alcuna allergia.

Il DPI deve vestire interamente l’operatore.

The garments of Siggi Hitech Antiacid collection are

suitable to be used in places where the worker is

exposed to chemical risks caused by small splashes of

liquids, sprays and aerosol.

These garments are design to ensure that there are

no place where the liquid can get in contact with the

body or parts in which the substance can stand for a

undetermined time.

The fabric certified for this purposes is the MERAKLON

(100% polypropylene fiber) of 200 gr/m2 in navy blue.

It complies with the standards above indicated and

maintains good characteristics to resist the use and

the hygenical treatments. It is unshrinkable and does

not lose the color. It is of easy maintenance and gives

no allergy.

The PPE must wear the operator completely.

Sono progettati per consentire una dissipazione delle cariche

attraverso il capo di abbigliamento e per consentire il contatto

diretto con la pelle del componente conduttivo del materiale

dell’indumento (esempio al collo e ai polsi). Il tessuto antistatico

prodotto con la fibra Dupont’s NEGA-STAT lavora sul principio di

carico di induzione.

- Ogni fibra è costituita da un nucleo elettricamente conduttivo

interamente coinvolto in una guaina in Dracon.

- Le cariche elettriche sono indotte e neutralizzate nel nucleo.

- La guaina in Dracon protegge il nucleo da frammentazioni,

scintille e degradazioni di ogni tipo.

E’ un tessuto che non genera particolari interferenze e garantisce

il mantenimento delle proprietà antistatiche anche dopo numerosi

lavaggi alle seguenti temperature: 60° per lavaggi domestici, 85°

per lavaggi industriali.

e predisposta per una corretta messa a terra. All’interno della

E.P.A. è possibile produrre, riparare e manipolare prodotti e

componenti sensibili alle cariche elettrostatiche.

E.P.A. Garments for protection and prevention of damages

occurring by electrostatic charges. ESD/EPA: electrostatic

discharge protected area made with static dissipative and

conductive materials in structure and furniture, in packaging

materials and in personal protective equipment for operators,

and with a proper grounding system.

Inside an EPA/ESD area it is possible to manufacture, repair

and handle products that are sensitive to electrostatic

charges.

Protective clothing for professions with risks arising from

electrostatic charges suitable for environments with electric

devices. They are projected to ensure the dissipation of the

electrostatic charges and to allow the direct contact of the

conductive elements of the garments with the skin (for example

skin and neck). The fabric is made with DUPONT NEGA-STAT that

works on the basis of the induction charge.

- Every fiber is based on a electrical conductive nucleus completely

wrapped with a Dracon sheath.

- The electrical charges are inducted and neutralized by the

nucleus.

- The Dracon sheath protects the nucleus from breakup, sparkles,

or any type of degradation.

This is a fabric that doesn’t generate particular interferences and

ensure the conservation of the electrostatic properties even after

many washings at these temperatures: 60° for domestic washing,

85°for industrial washings.

Essi riducono al minimo il rischio di impigliamento o

trascinamento quando il lavoratore opera su macchine o

in prossimità di apparecchiature in movimento.

Le estremità delle maniche e dei pantaloni aderiscono

perfettamente al corpo grazie alla chiusura ad elastico

predisposta per evitare eventuali impigliamenti.

Inoltre, tutte le cuciture sono ribattute all’esterno,

mentre le tasche non hanno aperture all’esterno, ma

sono accessibili solo dall’interno. Il DPI deve vestire

interamente l’operatore.

The anti-entanglement line includes garments that

respond to the requests of the norm UNI EN 510.

In compliance with this norm the garments are produced

in order to reduce at the minimum level the risk of

entanglement or dragging when the worker operates

next to moving machines.

The sleeves and trousers stick perfectly to the body

thanks to elastic cuffs that avoid the entanglement.

have no opening outside, being accessible only from the
