City of Destin to Host Annual
Arbor Day Celebration
City of Destin News Release, April 1, 2021
Destin, Fla. – The City of Destin will
hold its Annual Arbor Day celebration
at the Nancy Weidenhammer Dog
Park, located at 4100 Indian Bayou
Trail on Thursday, April 29th, 2021, at
10 a.m. The event will include remarks
from Mayor Gary Jarvis and special
guest speaker Aubrey Santucci with
Coastline Tree Service. Members of
the Destin City Council, the Destin
Parks and Recreation Committee,
Destin Chamber of Commerce Destin
Forward Class of 2021 and Noah’s
Ark Pre-School will be participating
in the tree dedication. Thank you
to members of Compass Resorts,
the Destin Chamber of Commerce
Destin Forward Class of 2021,
and Trees on the Coast, for their
generosity in donating the trees this
year. Additionally, the City of Destin
has been named a Tree City USA
community by The National Arbor Day
Foundation to honor its commitment
to urban forestry. This is the 19th
year Destin has received this national
recognition.
Loomis Brothers Circus
in Ft. Walton Beach
The Loomis Brothers Circus regresó
a Fort Walton Beach el 31 de marzo y
el 1 de abril y gracias a la generosidad
de los propietarios del Circus,

The Loomis Brothers Circus returned
to Fort Walton Beach on 31 March and
1 April and thanks to the generosity of
the Circus owners, Conexion Media
Group was able to give away several
Family Packs to some lucky families
that enjoyed their excellent shows.
