SerainaAfter finishing Titus Project, I taughtan overview of the Bible in my homechurch just as I'd been doing onoutreach. I was wondering how my(western, conservative) church wouldrespond to such an interactive,creative, yet in some ways basicteaching. The reaction was amazing!Many people finally understood thebig picture of the different stories inthe Bible. It was super helpful! A fewmonths after, the pastor told me thatmy teaching still gets mentionedsometimes!I've been teaching in many YWAMtraining courses since completingTitus Project. I have had the privilegeto introduce the inductive method anumber of times. I still enjoy it somuch! I love to see the studentsworking hard and and slowly gettinga hang of the inductive method! Godhas worked in many student's heartsthrough the inductive Bible studymethod and I'm honored to havebeen equipped by Titus Project abouthow to teach that.My personal highlight wasdefinitely meeting my husband inTitus Project!NetherlandsTitusGermany 2012
TheRottiersCanadaT I T U S G E R M A N Y 2 0 1 2Our (I say our because I was lucky enough tobe a part of Titus Project along with myfamily) experience with Titus Project wasreally a dream come true. Being able to betrained in teaching about the Bible and thengo out and teach through the Titus Projectwas something my wife and I had beendreaming about for years. And then TitusProject came to us! At the time we were apart of YWAM Hurlach in Germany and weretrying to figure out how we would gowherever Titus Project training was availableand how we would do that with our youngfamily (our daughters were 2 years and 3months old at the time). But then, the TitusEurope team came to run their trainingphase at the campus in Hurlach and we wereable, with the help of wonderful babysitters,to complete the training and head out toUkraine for outreachI always think of is the time that we ledan outreach to work with refugees inAthens, Greece. We taught for 6-weeksthat included Bible Overview and deepdives into how to study the Bible throughthe book of John. It was incredible to seehow our small team, through manydifficult challenges, were able to be ablessing there. Our family was also deeplyblessed by the volunteer staff at thechurch where we lived and served forthose six weeks. The way they loved ourchildren and became a part of our familyfor that time will never be forgotten.We are now serving in Turner ValleyCanada with YWAM, still teaching tomany young people how to studyinductively.
