For Ally Baier,

who never stopped smiling

and loved her crazy socks.

Fly High, Princess.

About this Book

I created this book for my Girl Scout Gold Award Project

(the highest award a Girl Scout can earn). Body image,

and the mental health issues it causes, are things I have

struggled with. My hope is to address body positivity in females,

especially teenage girls. The world tells us that we all must look

or act a certain way to be valued. This book showcases seven

girls and myself as modern-day princesses.

My desire is that every girl realizes she IS a princess, and that

our shape, size, background, or ability does not change this.

I want girls to know this: You are beautiful just the way you are.

Love yourself. Start each day believing in yourself and your

dreams, always be kind, do not be afraid to take chances,

try new things, spread your wings and explore what the world

has to offer. YOU ARE A PRINCESS!
