an intellectual disability shares their home and
life experiences with you. As a Professional
Roommate you’ll provide a safe and comfortable
home environment and enable a person to
become more independent and stay connected
within their community. You will be responsible
for Recruitment, training, and mentoring staff
to assure all supports are provided with the
designated funding hours. Develop and manage
staff schedules, shift responsibilities and weekly
activities that assure the consistency in support
strategies, achievement of goals and team
cohesion. Provide a four-overnight coverage,
on-call crisis, and vacancy coverage as needed.
