SERMONS AND ADDRESSES

‘Resurrection’

2 May When everything sad comes untrue (John 20: 1–18)

9 May Locked doors and doubt (John 20: 19–31)

16 May Peter’s new start (John 21: 1–25)

23 May The Day of Pentecost (Acts 2: 1–21)

30 May Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Romans 8: 12–17)

6 June Better call Paul (Acts 9: 1–19)

13 June With unveiled faces (2 Corinthians 3: 7–18)

Our Sunday sermons this term explore the meaning of the Easter story. The risen Christ brings the

light of resurrection into the world: a light that transforms people, places, and institutions. We

follow the Biblical narrative from Jesus’ resurrection encounters with Mary Magdalene, Thomas and

Peter, to his ascension, his sending of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, and his appearance to Paul on

the road to Damascus. The sermons this term will be given by the Dean, and by other members of

our College community.
