Welcome <strong>to</strong> Virtual AACTFest 2021<br />
Celebrating Resilience-Streng<strong>the</strong>ning Resolve<br />
<strong>June</strong> 14 – 20<br />
For many years, AACTFest has been <strong>the</strong> culmination of a twoyear<br />
cycle of community <strong>the</strong>atre productions across <strong>the</strong> country, with<br />
12 selected <strong>to</strong> perform as part of <strong>the</strong> national festival. These, plus<br />
educational workshops, social events, and networking opportunities,<br />
conclude with a festival awards presentation.<br />
Virtual AACTFest 2021 will maintain <strong>the</strong> national festival’s<br />
emphasis on artistic excellence in performances, adjudication, and<br />
education, but with a look and feel unlike anything you have seen before.<br />
This AACTFest will celebrate s<strong>to</strong>ries of resiliency, demonstrating<br />
how you can move from survive <strong>to</strong> thrive, as it showcases and celebrates<br />
<strong>the</strong> best of community <strong>the</strong>atre in America. Supporting you through<br />
this evolutionary journey are 12 award-winning productions and<br />
adjudications, seven keynote speakers, educational workshops, AACT<br />
Design Competition and adjudication, virtual vendor exhibit booths<br />
with industry demos, Silent Auction, Open Mic, AACTChats, virtual<br />
social events and networking opportunities, as well as AACT 2021<br />
National Awards presentations and <strong>the</strong> Festival Awards Ceremony.<br />

<strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r,” says AACT Executive Direc<strong>to</strong>r, Quiana Clark Roland. “We<br />
have a caliber of keynotes and speakers never offered before. Albeit<br />
virtual, this festival is going <strong>to</strong> be unlike any we have had before! AACT<br />
has worked diligently <strong>to</strong> tap in<strong>to</strong> our national and international network<br />
of <strong>the</strong>atre artists and professionals <strong>to</strong> bring <strong>the</strong> best t<strong>here</strong> is. If you have<br />

<strong>to</strong> register up <strong>to</strong> three individuals at <strong>the</strong> member rate. Casts and<br />
crews of <strong>the</strong> National Companies can also register for <strong>the</strong> full<br />
festival at a special discounted rate of $185.<br />
