A Florida doctorhas died several weeks afterreceivinga COVID-19 vaccine,
althoughit’s notyet clear whetherhis deathMondaywas relatedto the shothe
receivedon Dec. 18.
Dr. Gregory7 Michael,56, an OB-GYN at MountSinai MedicalCenterin Miami
Beach, died aftersufferinga hemorrhagicstrokeapparentlyresultingfroma lack of
platelets.
In a Facebook post, Michael'swife,Heidi Neckelmann, said he soughtemergency
care threeday’s afterthe shotbecause he had dotson his skin thatindicated
internalbleeding.

laterhe saw a strongset of petechiaeon his feetand hands whichmade
him seek attentionat the emergencyroom at MSMC. The CBC thatwas
done at his arrivalshowedhis plateletcountto be 0 (A normal platelet
countranges from 150,000to 450,000plateletsper microliterof blood.) he
was admittedin the ICU witha diagnosisof acuteITP caused by a reaction
to the COVID vaccine. A team of expertdoctorstriedfor2 weeks to raise
his plateletcountto no avail. Expertsfromall over the countrywere
involved in his care. No matterwhattheydid, the plateletscountrefusedto
go up. He was consciousand energeticthroughthe wholeprocessbut2
days beforea last resortsurgery, he gota hemorrhagicstrokecaused by
the lack ofplateletsthattookhis life in a matterof minutes.
