Craving Cuba Westcoast Premiere

Identity, Society, Women in Film

Craving Cuba is a documentary film about

Cuban-Americans and their complicated

relationship with Cuba. This is a story about

identity, family, exile and hope. Follow the

journey of a Cuban-American woman who was

born in New Jersey to Cuban-exiles and has

never been to Cuba. Although she has always

felt very American, there was always a strong

pull to the other half of her identity. Like most in

the exiled community, she grew up not being

able to go to Cuba. After the December 17th

announcement by President Barack Obama,

everything changes.

Society, Women in Film

The Man Who Saw Too Much is a film about

fragility; about a man obsessed with

photographing the accident who discovered

that the fate of others was his way of connecting

to life. What is it about these photographs?

When the image of the accident becomes the

object of desire? Through the footsteps of

Metinides and the work of the contemporary

tabloid photographers we discover Mexico City

through a narrative of crime scenes and

accidents, while we are confronted by our own

fascination with death, morbidity, rubbernecking

Introduction

To build a strong brand we must constantly reinforce what we stand for across

all touch points, so our community grows to know and love our brand.

This brand guide contains Standard Extracts’ brand assets and outlines how to

express them visually. Use these guidelines as framework for developing all

communications, and as a critical resource for any new marketing materials.

By maintaining these brand standards, we ensure that the Standard Extracts’

brand delivers a clear, consistent and powerful message to the world.

Logo

The simplicity of our logo reflects the simplicity of our products’ ingredients: 100% cannabis oils and

terpenes. Our logo represents the trinities of our brand. Its location: California’s Emerald Triangle.

Its landmarks: King Peak, Trinity River, and Lost Coast. Its values: Integrity, Honesty, Integrity, and

Excellence. Its qualities: Clean. Potent. All-Natural.

BECAUSE THE BRAND BIBLE

TELLS ME SO.

Orientation+Spacing

We know that logos need to be presentable in all orientations. Here is a library of our logo in different

orientations. Please note that spaces around our logo must be equal to or more than the width of the lower

case d in the logo. Trademark symbol must be shown only when brand name and icon appear exclusively.

Iconography+Colors

Our brand is well known for our product line. For consistency, these icons and colors evolved

from the corporate logo. The following graphics define visual representations of our products

categorized by purpose.

In the Game San Francisco Premiere

Dir. Maria Finitzo

USA | 2015 | 77 min |

Society, Youth, Women in Film

In the Game is a documentary feature film

directed by Peabody award-winner Maria Finitzo

and produced by Kartemquin Films (Hoop

Dreams). In the Game follows the ups and

real obstacles that low-income students confront

in their quest for higher education. Set at an

inner city high school in a primarily Hispanic

neighborhood, the girls face an uneven playing

field – or in the case of the girls at Kelly High

School, no soccer field at all – little or no support,

problems at home, uncertain futures,

discrimination, and poverty. Thanks to their

teammates and the dedicated mentoring of

their coach, however, the girls never give up

hope in their quest for attending college and,

most importantly, success in life.

The Football Boys

Los Pibes US Premiere

Dir. Jorge Leandro Colas

Argentina | 82 min | Sports, Youth

The talent scouts for Boca Juniors football team

tour the lesser-known clubs and football fields to

discover the future stars of Argentine football.

The film depicts the year long task of this

experienced and peculiar team of recruiters

who, with a sharp eye and street smarts, try out

over 40,000 boys, looking for the dribblers, the

daring, and those who stand out from the

crowd.
