The challenge was to design a big residential space of
more than 400m2 taking into consideration customers’
needs together with property charachteristics. The
couple requested the space to be divided into a residential
apartment for themsleves, a semi professional photovideo
studio as well as a rental 1-bedroom apartment.
The designer has come up with a proposal to meet all
HIGH END RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
requirements at the same time adding an artistic value
to it. The design process has started with an in-depth
research about the customers, location followed by site
analysis. Concept element „Roots of Victory” is visible
throughout the space both in residential and rental
apartment. Bespoke design elements have been created
from small architecture like staircase and tholos inspired
entrace to decor sculture and reliefs. For this project a
set of documentaion has been created to fully explain
the process as well as to communicate the final design
in the most advanced way. You can see all 7 submissions
illustrated above. Cohesive design marries all to create
one finished product. This project took 395 hours.

MAIN ACTIVITY ZONE
ACTIVITY ZONE
02/ 1
This was a group project. We were a team of 5 working on
the basement space for Body&Soul Charity in London.
We named ourselves OFF THE WALL DESIGN. My role was
a Team Leader. This has put a set of requirements for
myself: from time management to group management.
The design process had to be properly planned from the
beginning and executed. We have sucessfully submitted
the project in time creating an interesting design
CHARITY DESIGN
proposal for our customer. The process started with
the research about the charity and its clients. We had
to understand the therapies they offer and what is their
best way to work with people from young age to adults.
We had coordiantion sessions twice a week, reporting our
findings and presenting work that was divided previously.
The space was challenging, of not a regular shape with
a limited amount of day light. The budget was quite
thight so we have found quite a few sponsporships. After
identifying problems the designer had to solve for the
charity customers we have created an answer in a form
of the interior design that improves well being and self
acceptance - which is all Body&Soul is about. We have
received a positive feedback from the director of the
charity which gave us full satisfaction from our work. I
am forever grateful I could participate in a group project
with other talented peers.

02/ 2 PROJECT PRESENTATION
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The approach undertaken to propose a design and
usability of an open plan basement space for the
charity purposes started with in-depth analysis of the
clients and therapies that are offered by Body&Soul.
The understanding of clients need lead us to concept
creation a” Tangram Nest”. This was later expanded
a visual concept board that inspired textures and
furniture selection. The space has been divided into
two main zones: A and B to assign subtasks easier
to each member of the group. The space had to be
versatile and easy transformable. We have achieved
that by proposing a set of easy to store furniture. As
this is a basement level the amount of day light was
limited. We have come up with set of solutions to
maximise the amount of light that will become part of
design element as well.

GROUND FLOOR OPEN SPACE
BRIEF PROJECT PACKAGE VISUAL
I was asked to create a design proposal of a modern
co-working space for three creative agencies of my
choice. The ground floor property is located in modern
and vibrant part of London, Brixton. The location had
a strong impact on the interior design of the space
which is visible in concept as well as decor elements. I
was told the space should work well for 25 member of
staff offering hot desks, booths, conference rooms and
a coffee shop available to all employees. The challenge
CO-WORKING SPACE DESIGN
was to ensure that the space is wheelchair accessible
and disabled people freindly. I had to make sure I provide
enough working stations as well as offer creative and fun
space. I had to analyse and understand the work flow
of the three agencies, the type of work they offer and
customers they serve. All this led me to create a fun
concept that could be translated innto the design that
will satisfy my customer. For this project I have prepared
a set of supporting documents from a 128-pages dossier
to Technical Drawings that fully illustrate the design and
its process. To compliment the work I have prepared
a budget using ESTIMAC Software. The space got an
identification and the name „The Rix” with a story
„ A day at The Rix” written and presented by me as a
visual final presentation.

01. CLIENT, RESEARCH | DOSSIER
02. IN-DEPTH OFFICE DESIGN RESEARCH | DOSSIER
By analysing the given brief and conducting
a research on my customer - three creative
agencies I have started working on the
design using a new approach. Before being
able to start drafting layouts I had to create
various day flows for the employees, mostly
creatives, working and sharing the same
space. I wanted to offer some new solutions
and new spaces to enhance the experience
at work for example: zen, rechargable,
electronic-free rooms, or a social area
to rest. I had to understand how people
collaborate and what are the recent findings
on the most effective work spaces and how
technology could be applied to it. The
concept for this project is a word „Figment”.
It reflects to me creativity, flexibility and
art. The Rix - as I have named the place
- is a space for creative thinkers, space that
evolves and adapts and reflects the unique
vibe of Brixton.

RECEPTION DESK
04/ 1
The brief was to design a product - reception desk
- that would be suitable for two receptionists and
accessible by a wheelchair user. One of many interior
designer duites is to provide ideas for bespoke
furniture with detailed production drawings. It
requires a vast knowledge in modern materials
as well as technical construction skills. In order
RECEPTION DESK DESIGN
to come up with a good design I had to conduct
an in-depth research on modern technologies,
sustainable materials and production processes.
This has been reflected in the Dossier. Technical
Drawing package is an integral part of the project
presenting detailes isometric views, sections and
elevations that explain the design fully. I have learnt
that as a designer I need to consult the details with
specialists to ensure all safety measures are met. It
was a challenging project but I am very pleased with
the design I have created. Overall it is a versatile
product that can fit into any reception space. It
looks modern but also introduces warmth with the
wooden part forming a leg of the desk.

04/ 2 02. SKETCHING | ANALYSING HOW THE DESK COULD BE DESIGNED & ACCESSIBLE
OVERVIEW
The design process strated with in depth market
research on modern and sustainable materials that
would be suitable for this kind of product. Reception
desk has to be nice looking, ergonomic and highly
durable. Out of many availabe options I have decided
to use Kerrock solid surface as the main material. It’s
been chosen for it’s aesthetic clean and warm look that
combines classic beatuy with modern technology. It is
a very versatile material that gives a lot of flexibility
for any designer. Anything that can be modelled in 3D
can be „printed” and constructed with Kerrock. Even
a very demanding design. I have modelled the shape
contacting joinery that works with Kerrock to get as
much information to ensure the design is achievable.
I have integrated led lights within the surface and in
the kickplate of the desk. Final design allows for a
wheelchair person to use it too.

Inspiration: GIFT BOX. Location would be a London market. The design can
work well for both outdoor and indoor. Two external walls are made out of
folding glass curtain.
The concept for the interior
design is „Nurture” and appears
in every aspect of the
design. The use of materials
and fabrics will resemble the
process of nurturing a flower.
Flowers and relationships
need nurturing before they’re
in bloom. The main idea of
the Bloom and Wild company
is to send flower bouquets
through letterboxes.
Similarly the exterior design
is to resemble an unwrapped
box. Black strips will cross
the building around and will
also repeat inside. The entire
pop up stand will be a box.

OVERVIEW
Bloom and Wild is a letterbox online flower delivery
brand. It’s dedicated to create a delivery experience
of fresh and beautifuly composed bouquets. The
chosen concept for this project is „NURTURE”.
The reason behind it that the company is actually,
but not directly, teaching how to nurture feelings,
relationships and precious moments - to give them
more siginificance via gifting flowers. The concept
appears in every aspect thoughout the design. The
use of materials and fabrics resembles the process of
nurturing a flower. The appearance will be organic
or nature- looking. There will be an element of water
(blue glass), wood - introducing warmth and earth and
lots of real flowers. The design will develop towards
the middle section where customers or visitors will
expereience the full bloom (feature flower walls,
transparent wood structure dropping from the ceiling).
It is where people will gather to create own bouquets
during a workshop.
