Dear readers, we hope you’ll enjoy the
magazine as much as we did making
it. Fashion has revolutionized the
world year by year with the different
clothing items that stores put up for
sale. With summer approaching, the
three of us decided to create a fashion
magazine to enhance on all the latest
updates on what is trending and
everything in regards to fashion.
Paloma, Ana Sofia, and Paola have
been friends since a long time ago
and all share the enthusiasm and love
for fashion. There charismatic personalities
and creative ways of thinking
made it possible for the May edition
of the magazine to become published
for the world to see. The editors all
worked very hard to acomplish this
issue and had a lot of fun making this
for the audience to enjoy.

BIG
Fling
By their very nature, accessories are not the main affair.
For spring 2021, clothing is hewing functional, beautiful,
and exuberant, favoring comfortable silhouettes over
the irony and/or escapism the industry once celebrated.
The role of quirky costar falls to the season’s shoes,
bags, hats, and wraps. It’s an exciting proposition, and a
freeing one, because in truth, you don’t really need any
accessories this season. But you will still want them.
Liberated from functionality, logic, or ideas of what
makes something “essential,” this season’s plus-ones
share a sense of irreverence and levity. For our feet,
there are soft and silly slippers from Molly Goddard and
Balenciaga or gigantic boots from Rick Owens and Paco
Rabanne.
Our bags might be homespun knotted sacs from Simone
Rocha or Valentino, or maybe they will be slim,
fuss-free phone cases like those shown at Versace and
Coach. There are plenty of new face masks from Collina
Strada and Anna Sui, and for the very dramatic, bold
hats like Burberry’s sou’wester and Marine Serre’s chapeau-cum-plastic
face shield.

How many light years ago was
it that we first saw clusters of
fashion week photographers
kneeling to photograph
somebody’s shoe? That time
now seems distant and quaint.
As the editors of Vogue noted
in a barbed round-table
posting about Milan Fashion
Week, greeted by both
cheers and derision (mostly
derision), the street-side catwalk
is now largely a means
of hyping styles, trends and
merchandise already in
circulation, with scarcely
any relation to fresh ideas.
Calling the quick-change
artists and freebie-hustlers
of the collections sideshow
“pathetic,” “embarrassing”
and “sad,” the Vogue editors
bemoaned the practice of
Instagram-baiting as a herald
of the death of real style.
The bloggers shot back with
their own critique of an industry
that benefits richly
from cozy relationships
with designers and labels.
“Bloggers who wear paidfor
outfits or borrowed
clothes are merely doing the
more overt equivalent” of
the editorial credit system,”
Bloggers, too, she added,
have bills to pay. Ultimately
it was a fake firestorm lit
by careless terminology. The
creatures that the Vogue
team was talking about are
not bloggers — they do not
create original content, written
or visual — but rather
poseurs. Whatever side you
came down on, however,
this new reality underscores
one difficulty faced by those
who attend the monthlong
round of fashion shows held
twice yearly in New York,
London, Milan and Paris.

GIGI HADID Gives
Birth to a Girl
Gigi Hadid has given birth to a baby girl, five months after announcing
she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik.
he former One Directon singer announced
news of their daughter’s arrival
via Twitter on Wednesday September 23.
‘Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,’
Malik captioned a black-and-white photograph
of him and his little newborn’s hands
entwined. To try

task,’ he continued.

feel for this tiny
human is beyond my understanding. Grateful
to know her, proud to call her mine, &

x. Hours later, Hadid shared a black-andwhite

she revealed arrived over the weekend. ‘Our
girl joined us earth-side this weekend and
she’s already changed our world. So in love
[sic],’ she captioned the sweet shot of their
hands together. After sharing the news to
her 57.3 million Instagram followers, several
of the New York-based star’s close friends
and colleagues congratulated her on becom-
‘Welcome babygirl! So happy for you guys,’
model Hailey Bieber commented. Emily
Ratajkowski wrote: ‘Congratulations Gigi
& Zayn!!’ The news comes days after the
model’s mother shared a photograph of her
and the star ‘waiting patiently’ for the baby
to arrive. In the
snap, Hadid, her
sister Bella and
the matriarch all
touch her pregnant
belly with
their hands.
Days prior,
Hadid’s father Mohamed shared a picture of
a handwritten poem titled ‘Grandpa’s Heart’
on Instagram, that he’d written for his ‘little
grandchild’. As a result, he incidentally had
fans speculating that the model’s daughter
had already arrived - rumours he soon
denied. In the caption of the post, he noted:
‘In the name of God the The merciful I want
to say l love you and so proud of you @gigihadid.
[sic]’ Last month, Hadid revealed
her due date while sharing several photos
from her recent pregnancy photoshoot on
Instagram earlier this month.

are a nice go to cover up, but with added style. The
difference between them is that a crew neck does not
have a hood. Crewnecks come in every color and every
design. They can be vintage, they can be modern, but
they are both IN-Fashion.
VERSIZED ZIP-UP HOODIE. This is the ultimate
essential that every one needs to own. Any color
works, any shirt underneath, any bottoms, anything
works. They work to keep you warm and also to keep
you in style, this are a must buy for the upcoming days.
Great places to shop zip-ups are: Brandy Melville, and
Gap.
ENIM SHORTS. Perfect for summer, and perfect
for spring. What more can you ask than a pair of
shorts. Denim shorts have never gone out of style, and
they never will go. You can wear them short of long.
High rise, mid rise, and low rise; all of them are easy to
style and comfortable. Don’t forget to buy yours!
OGA PANTS. Although they might seem out of style,
they are making a comeback; a big one. They can be
used for sports, simple outfits, and street wear. Yoga
Pants are some of the most comfrtable bottoms to wear
anywere and they fit almost every ocassion. Look in
your closet and you might even find old ones that you
thought would never be in style again.
ORSET TOPS. No need to buy expensive corsets
that can hurt your back; corset tops are the new it.
There are multiple designs, styles, and colors. You can
buy them sleevless, long sleeve, and short sleeve. Black,
white, brown, green, and any color you can imagine.
Corset tops are pretty, classy, and cute.
