1 EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT
1
Someone’s running through the darkness. He's breathing fast,
sweating. He looks back -- two FIGURES are after him.
He makes a turn towards the street -- he comes to a halt --
he sees a GIRL walking down the road.
He quickly runs towards her. As he reaches her, he grabs her
by the shoulder -- the Girl whirls around immediately.
AVNI
Samay? What are you doing here?
AVNI(17) stares blankly at SAMAY(18), sweat and tears mixed
upon his face.
SAMAY
Please, help me. Please, give me
your phone.
Not sure what happening, she hands him her phone. His hands
are shivering as he writes the text--
AVNI
Wait what?, You're texting yourself?
He suddenly looks back, more afraid than ever -- he sweats
even more. He panics and looks at Avni, as he quickly sends
the text--
2 INT. ROOM - DAY

A phone on a table VIBRATES, waking Samay. He grabs his
phone.
There’s a text message from Avni “Don’t answer the door, stay
away from Avni and Anay, they are not real. Find Avni”.
He tosses the phone away, then grabs his shirt -- He hears
the doorbell RING--

3 INT. LIVING ROOM - DUSK

Samay opens the door -- Avni and Anay wait outside, he smiles
at them, but they stare back weirdly.

SAMAY
Guys, Is everything okay?
ANAY
Why did you have to take it?
Just then, Anay grabs Samay’s hand -- sending Samay back to--
4 INT. ROOM - DUSK

A phone on the table VIBRATES, waking Samay. He storms up,
looks around, confused -- he’s back in his room.
SAMAY
What was that. A weird dream.
He looks at the text on his phone -- “Don’t answer the door,
stay away from Avni and Anay, they are not real. Find Avni”.
He stares at his phone’s screen -- He hears the doorbell
RING- -
He waits a while, he’s getting scared gradually.
5 INT. LIVING ROOM - DUSK

Samay opens the door -- Avni and Anay wait outside, he smiles
at them, but they stare back weirdly. Just as how it happened
before.
SAMAY
Guys, Is everything okay?
ANAY
Why did you have to take it?
Realising what this means, Samay tries closing the door, but
Anay stops him in time. Anay grabs Samay’s hand, sending him
back too--
6 INT. ROOM - DUSK

A phone on the table VIBRATES, waking Samay. He storms up,
looks around, confused -- he’s back in his room. Panting
vigorously.

SAMAY
What is happening to me.
He ignores the text on the phone, then moves to the window,
sweat on his face.

He grabs his shirt, slips into it -- He hears the doorbell
RING--
His fear is visible now -- he tries calming himself by taking
long deep breaths. The doorbell RINGS again--
7 EXT. LIVING ROOM - DUSK

Samay stands inches away from the door -- the doorbell RINGS.
His hands are shivering.
Consumed by fear, he searches around, then his eyes fall on
the window, quickly, he matches to it.
He slides it open and squeezes through.
8 EXT. BACKYARD - DUSK
8
Samay breaks into a purposeful run. He’s running as fast as
his legs could carry.
Anay and Avni spot him, they quickly run after him. They are
much faster than Samay.
And the sun has almost set over the town.
9 EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT
9
Samay runs through the dark alley, breathing fast, sweating.
Yet, he doesn’t stop. He looks back -- Avni and Anay are
after him, and they are gaining in on him.
He doubles his speed -- he comes to a halt at the street --
he sees Avni.
He quickly runs towards her. As he reaches her, he grabs her
by the shoulder -- Avni whirls around immediately.
AVNI
Samay? what are you doing here?
SAMAY
Please, help me. Please, give me
your phone.

Not sure of what is happening, she hands him her phone. His
hands are shivering as he writes the text-- “Don’t answer the
door, stay away from Avni and Anay, they are not real. Find
Avni”.

SAMAY (CONT'D)
Let’s go--
He grabs her hand, compels her to follow her.
10 EXT. PARK - NIGHT

Samay is freaking out. Avni stares at him in confusion.
AVNI
What’s going on?
Samay looks at her, not sure what to tell her.
SAMAY
Okay, last night after the party at
your house. I was on my way home
when--
As he speaks, we’re drifted to--
BEGIN BACKSTORY SEQUENCE
11 INT. HOUSE - OFFICE - NIGHT

Samay spots something in a glass container. He looks around,
opens the container then touches it, runs his fingers on it -
- we don’t see what it is.
Then he looks around again, someone opens the room door,
hides it in his shirt -- the moment he does that--

A phone on the table VIBRATES, waking Samay. He storms up,
looks around.
END BACKSTORY SEQUENCE
13 EXT. PARK - NIGHT

Avni stares at him, she can’t believe what she’s hearing.
Samay paces.

AVNI
No, you didn’t.

SAMAY
I’ve been living the same day over
and over -- I don’t know for how
long but--
(he looks at her)
I took it from your house. I need
you to stop it.
She shakes her head “no”.
AVNI
There’s nothing I can do. It belongs
to you now.
SAMAY
What are you talking about?
AVNI
The orb, it's yours now.
The revelation strikes him to the core. He starts shaking.
SAMAY
Please Avni. Do something.
He goes down on his knees.
ALICE
I can’t. You will go. Now--
He tries grabbing her but--

He sits up -- just then, the door bell RINGS.
