Dr Marie-Louise Lillywhite is a lecturer
in History at Keble College Oxford,
and in History of Arts at Middlebury
College. Marie-Louise’s research focuses
particularly on sacred art and architecture in earlymodern
Venice, as well as on the arts and material
culture of the Jesuit order in Southeast Asia.
Nigel McGilchrist
Having worked in the Mediterranean
area for over thirty years, Art Historian
Nigel McGilchrist has taught for several
universities and now lectures freelance.
He has worked for the Italian Ministry of Arts on
wall painting conservation and is the author of the
20-volume series, McGilchrist’s Greek Islands.
