Regensburg’s virtually intact mediaeval

townscape, listed as UNESCO World Heritage,

makes Regensburg so memorable. This tour

focuses on the riches and often hidden treasures

of mediaeval art and architecture in Regensburg,

will discover this less well-known, yet culturally

Walk through Malaga to reveal layer upon layer of the city’s past and present as you encounter

the Roman theatre and the imposing Moorish citadel, discover fine churches and palaces, stop at

has published books about these regions. He is a linguist and has worked in Jordan, Cairo

and Turkey; his PhD focused on Orthodox Churches of the Ottoman Empire.

In Ravenna we see the proof that even as the torch of the Roman Empire flared out, Europe was on

the threshold of a period of incomparable artistic achievement. The 5th-century Mausoleum of Galla

Dr Natalia Murray is a visiting lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art and a Senior Curator.

In 2017, Natalia curated a major exhibition Revolution: Russian Art 1917-1932 at the Royal

Academy of Arts. She has featured in documentaries and BBC Radio 4 broadcasts.

Clare Ford-Wille is an independent art

historian. She has led study tours to

Europe and lectured on European art,

architecture and sculpture for more than

thirty years, primarily for the University of London, the

National Gallery, the V&A and NADFAS. She has also
