Engineers recommended a variety ofstrategies that would help reduce floodingthroughout the watersheds. Engineers andother stakeholders are now in the processof identifying which projects should moveforward, along with securing funding partners.Clear Creek Tributary Clearing& DesnaggingPortions of four Clear Creek tributaries—Newport Ditch, Landing Ditch, CedarGully, and Magnolia Creek—have beenselected for select clearing and desnaggingprojects. Clearing out debris and overgrownvegetation will increase channel capacityand provide flood relief for these areas andupstream areas.
