About Us
Unitra Jaya is a Singapore-based company incorporated in 1987. We have since
established ourselves as a reliable supplier and a one-stop soluons-provider
for PVC piping and fings.
We specialize in PVC Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) K6739 and K6741 piping & drainage systems, as well as supply
Singapore Standards pipes and fings, namely SS213:1998 (BS4514, AS1415) soil, waste and vent piping systems,
SS141:2013 cable conduits (Class B & C—grey), irrigaon piping system (Class D & E—white) for conveying cold water to
households and SS272:2012 below ground pipes and fings for drain lines and cables.
We supply and wholesale pipes and fings in complete ranges of sizes, standards, materials and pressure rangs to
meet our customers’ diverse needs — from industrial, commercial, residenal, recreaonal to government instuons.
Having mulple sources of imports allows us to supply at cost-effecve prices without compromising on quality. Our
products originate from Singapore, Japan, China, EU region, Indonesia and Malaysia.
We supply rainwater downpipe systems to projects islandwide, covering a few of the most iconic landmarks in Singapore,
namely - Jewel @ Changi, Tuas Mega Shipyard, The Singapore Sports Hub. In the region, we have also supplied our
materials in the building of Kuala Lumpur Internaonal Airport 2 and Jakarta Terminal 3.
Our forte has been in customizing PVC soluons for a multude of purposes. Given our in-depth product knowledge and
technical experse, we provide consultancy and design-and-build services to our customers. We have undertaken
numerous customized turn-key projects and amongst them, the most prominent would be the River Safari at Singapore
Zoo.
As Singapore gears up to ramp up our local food source, we have, already, years of in-depth know-hows of complex irrigaon
systems to support large-scale urban farming setups. We design and build water tanks and piping systems to ensure
that irrigaon would be seamless in the technologically-advanced urban farming environment.

Japan Industrial Standards Pipes
JISK 6741 VU-DV (AE) PIPES
This standard of UPVC pipes classified under JIS
K6741 VU-DV (AE) is commonly used as substitutes
of SS141 or SS272 standard pipes. These
pipes may be suitable for underground sewer
drainage and irrigation systems. They are also suited
for light-pressured uses like air-conditioning
water discharge outlet, cable-ducting flush pipes
and fume exhaust systems. All usage purpose
should be in adherence with the working pressure
of the class of pipes.
JISK 6741 VP (AW) PIPES
This series of UPVC pipes classified under JIS K6741 TS (AW) is suited for uses in conjunction
with pumps and mechanical plants and is applicable to any drainage system.
This standard of pipes are suitable for underground sewer drainage and irrigation
purposes.
These pipes are 5.8m in length, manufactured in
grey and pipe diameter >50mm comes socketended.
RWDP (AEO) PIPES
This series of UPVC pipes more commonly known
as RWDP or AEO pipes is mainly used for nonpressured
applications like fluid drainage, fume
exhaust system and in concrete columns in construction
usage.
These pipes are 5.8m in length, made to correspond
with local requirements in grey colour and

C-PVC (CHLORINATED POLYVINYL CHLORIDE) pipes are made of thermal-resistant vinyl chloride, which has excellent resistance
against corrosion and temperatures up to 90°C. CPVC’s inherent chemical resistance, reliability and ability to stand up to
high heat and pressure make it an ideal material for residenal, commercial and even industrial piping. CPVC is
fire resistant and will not support combuson.

Cable Pipes & Fittings
The SS141 Class B & C uPVC pipes are equivalent to BS3505 standards.
This series of pipes are categorized into various classes, with each class for different purposes. They come in a
range of thickness to meet different construcon needs.
These pipes are most commonly used as cable conduits as they have excellent insulang and dielectric properes.
They also serve as an economical and praccal alternave in the infrastructure sector.
A popular range is the Class B pipes mainly used by Singapore Power (SP Group) and Land Transport Authority for
laying cables that power lamp-posts.
They are manufactured in standards lengths of 6m and in grey, with one ended socket-ended for easy installaon.

Singapore Standard Pipes
SS213 Pipes
SS213 pipes are mainly used for soil, waste and
vent. Also largely used in HDB projects, condominiums,
industrial and commercial buildings.
They are also suitable for other discharge purposes
above ground.
They come in 5.8m lengths and are white in
colour.

SS141 Class D & E Pipes
The SS141 Class D & E uPVC pipes are equivalent
to BS3505 standards and come in standard white.
This series of pipes are categorized into various
classes, with each class for different purposes.
They come in a range of thickness to meet different
construcon needs. The SS141 Class D & E
uPVC pipes are mainly used for conveying potable
water to households and for irrigaon purposes
and also commonly used for temporary water
supply.

SS272 Pipes
SS272 telecom pipes comes in grey colour and in lengths
of 6m. They are recommended for use by the telecommunicaon
authories for island-wide telephone and
cable-network laying. The durability, non-corrosive and
di-electric nature of uPVC pipes makes it ideal for this

Vortex
Vortex Inhibitors are used as aachments to pump sucon pipes installed in water storage
tanks. They are made of Polypropylene material which provides a lightweight yet durable
finish. They are designed with an opmal number of fins to ensure maximum flow is
achieved. The use of vortex inhibitors ensures the pump is fully primed at all mes to prevent
the pump from being damaged during operaon. With a vortex inhibitor installed, the
pump does not draw air when the water level falls to a low-level.

We carry Arensi-Marley, as well as Monsoon brand of guers and their full range of accessories. They come in either
grey or white and are made of PVC. They can be painted over to achieve the colour of choice. They are also
rust, fade and corrosion resistant for lasng durability. The high-capacity guer channels and redirects rainwater to
help prevent garden erosion and foundaon damage. It is engineered to withstand harsh weather condions. The
guer is maintenance free and cleans with a hose.

Dome grangs are typically used for industrial and domes-
c drainage purposes. Its domed shape helps prevent
clogging in drainage channels. It is easy to install, does not
require glue applicaon and fits AE, AW and SS213 standards
of pipes. It is an economical alternave to the cast
iron type of domed grang. This fing is available in grey
or white.
