Because of the size of your camper you may notbe able to park your car beside it. Please stay within your lot size. Slide outs andawnings must remain within your campsite as well.1. A Camping Permit must be obtained prior to occupying a camping lot. All lots are nontransferablewith a waiting list provided at the secretary’s office. Person or personsresponsible for said permit must be 18 years of age at the time of purchase and isresponsible/liable for the behavior and welfare of all members residing in the unit. Anadult camper must accompany any camper under 18 years of age. All those residing atthe camper must be registered on the permit. Any person found in the unit after curfew,not registered, is cause for removal of the entire unit. Failure to use assigned campsiteor transfer site without written approval will result in loss of camping privileges up to andincluding forfeiture of your site.2. A Camping Permit Display Pass, along with two Camping Vehicle Passes, will beprovided upon return and completion of the Fair Camping Permit. The Camping PermitDisplay Pass will need to be displayed on your unit in a prominent location visible fromthe roadway side. Your vehicle must have your rearview mirror tagdisplayed. Two vehicle permits per site will be given out. Thisdoes not mean you will have room to park 2 vehicles.3. Trailers, campers, trucks or any other vehicles used for living purposes or otherwiseduring the fair, must be parked in designated areas only. All camping units, along withone vehicle, must stay within the lot size and marked lines that have been provided.Every attempt will be made to accommodate campers and one driving vehicle at thesite. However, due to limited site size based on accommodations, lot placement, locationof site with electric poles and electric boxes, tree locations, size of campers and sizeof vehicle parked at the site, etc., not all sites can accommodate both units. It is thecamper’s responsibility to see that only your vehicle is parked in your restricted site area.Non-compliance can be reported to the secretary’s office or any Fairboard Director andcan result in forfeiture of all reserved parking privileges. Camping units may not protrudeinto the driveway. Any camper that has outgrown their width and length provided siteaccommodations, will need to be reviewed by the Camping Committee for relocation.4. All properly tagged vehicles approved to accompany the campsite will have designatedreserved parking for overflow that can be used if necessary, but it will not be provided atyour site. All camping unit vehicles must park in these designated areas only! Questionscan be addressed with a Parking and Camping Committee Directors.5. The fairboard reserves the right to take from or add too any area that they might need touse in order to make improvements to existing conditions. If this occurs, campers will benotified 30 days in advance of the improvements.6. Horseshoe or square groups of campers will not be permitted under any circumstances.7. Electric hookups are to be with proper receptacles only, with only ONE HOOKUP PERCAMPING UNIT! Cords must be UL approved HEAVY DUTY GROUND 3 WIRECORDS.8. Picnic tables are provided on a limited first come, first served basis at the time of siteoccupancy. Tables are not reserved and not to be chained prior to fair. In addition, fair pass rates will also apply for all individuals’ admittance in and out ofthe fair residing in the camper. Reservations may be paid to the Mercer County Fairgrounds, 1001 West Market Street, P.O. Box 301, Celina, OH 45822, beginningthe first day of the fair for the following fair year. Please indicate “Fair Camping” on your check. Payment in full of $200 is your reservation for the week of the fair.ANY CAMPER NOT PAID IN FULL BY DECEMBER 15, WILL FORFEIT THEIR RESERVATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. Campers wishing to be placed on the waitingsupply, one per lot. Tables that are out in designated areas to be used for fair purposesmay NOT be taken for camping.9. There will be a 12 a.m. (midnight) curfew for all people on the fairgrounds, unlessengaged in essential work sanctioned by the Mercer County Agriculture Society/MercerCounty Fairboard or Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. All music, loud noise, abusivelanguage, large parties, hazardous activities or any other disturbances and annoyanceswill not be tolerated and must stop at the curfew time. All violators will be dealt with on anindividual bases and subject to removal.10. Firearms, potentially dangerous or hazardous equipment and hazardous substances willnot be allowed on the grounds.11. Trash must be put in proper containers located on the grounds and DEBRIS REMOVEDFROM YOUR CAMPSITE following the fair. If the site is not clean, you will be chargedfor trash removal and forfeit your site for the following year.12. Open fires are prohibited at all times. There will be no cooking on open fire. NOCHARCOAL GRILLS. Propane grills only may be used.13. Water and sewage will not be allowed to be discharged on the ground and is subject to$100 fine. A Dump Station is located north of Camping Lot “C,” on the northwest cornerof the fairgrounds. The Dump Station is to be used AFTER FAIR IS OVER. Camperscannot be moved during fair to use the Dump Station. If tanks need emptied duringfair, you must call secretary’s office and arrangements will be made for the tank to beemptied at owner’s expense. Portable dump station removal is available upon request atthe secretary’s office at fees established by the provider. Removal is by request only attimes designated by the supplier.14. No animals are permitted in the camping area.15. Absolutely NO Auxiliary Motorized Vehicles, ATV’s, Golf Carts, Roller blades,Skateboards, Bicycles, Scooters, etc., except those designated by the Mercer CountyFairboard, are allowed on the grounds at any time during the fair. Exclusions forhandicapped wheeled apparatuses and fair business only by permission from thesecretary’s office/Mercer County Fairboard.16. Alcohol is permitted in designated areas only sanctioned by the Mercer CountyFairgrounds. No alcoholic beverages in areas outside of camping units. In agreementwith the Ohio State Law, alcoholic consumption will not be permitted under the age of21.17. Any disturbances requiring the intervention of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office will,AFTER ONE WARNING, constitute reason for dismissal from the grounds and loss ofcamping privileges.18. ALL WATER HOSES USED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION in this campground MUSTBE RATED FOR POTABLE WATER use only.19.All Campers must keep site RESPECTFUL. Fairboard has the right to remove / reviewmaterial displayed and you may be asked to remove these items.20. No campers to be brought to campground earlier than Tuesday before fair. If brought inon Tuesday, you will be charged $20 for that night.CONTENTS♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦HORSE TRAILER PARKING RULES ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦1. Trailers must be parked in designated parking spots. No other vehicles arepermitted to park in this area for any reason.2. Registration is available at the MCF Secretary’s Office.3. There will not be a charge for trailers used solely for storage of tack, feed, oras a dressing room.4. Any trailer used for camping will be charged a $50 camping fee. Electricand vehicle parking will not be available in this area. Any trailer needingelectric and parking passes must have a spot in one of the regularcamping lots.5. Any trailer used as a camper must comply with the camping rules.6. Anyone violating the rules will be notified by the Mercer County Fairgrounds.If the violator fails to comply with the rules, the violator will be fined $50 Finesmust be paid prior to entry of the next years fair in order to participate duringthe fair.
