OBSERVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Title: does not indicate the tool used in this research. I suggest adding: exploring,
investigating, inquiring, etc.
2. Abstract: incoherent, especially in the introductive sentences. Avoid the use of
abbreviations and contractions. It should be placed right after the FrontPage.
3. P1: General introduction: when abbreviating a term, use the full term the first time
you use it, followed immediately by the abbreviation in parentheses.
4. P2: Statement of the problem: incoherent, to be reformulated.
5. P5: Irregular citing. When citing a secondary source, insert both the original
author and year and the author and year of the work where the quote/idea was
found in the in-text reference. e.g. (Benjamin, 1983, as cited in James 1990). This
remark applies to all similar cases.
6. PP 6 to 24: some definitions are reported without citing any references.
7. Use Page Breaks to start a new page for each chapter.
8. THE RESEARCH METHODOLOGY DESIGN section is too short. More
elaboration is needed, especially in Sample of the Population, Method of Data
Collection and Analysis, and Conclusion.
9. The students' sample size, compared to the whole population, questions the
credibility of the findings.
10. The results should be summarized under a section called Results Summary,
before discussing and interpreting them.
11. French and Arabic abstracts should be reformulated after reformulating the
English abstract. I highly recommend writing them in each language, instead of
translating the English abstract, to avoid poor language style. Add keywords to
both French and Arabic abstracts.
12. Typing and spelling mistakes recheck your dissertation and correct them.
13. The entire dissertation is to be double-spaced.
14. The appendices should appear at end of the dissertation, not in a separate file.
