The party capital of India, Goa is a package full of surprises.
Apart from happening beaches in both north and south districts,
Goa has several unexplored beaches, obscure caves and other
secrets spots waiting to be explored. Other highlights of Goa
include its rich Portuguese history, amazing seafood, and the
friendly locals. Goa offers a complete holiday experience for
every traveler. You can either lounge on a sun bed with a cool
drink in hand or be a total party animal. Old Goa that is home
to many ornate churches, magnificent cathedrals, and ancient
temples, each with its own colorful history. A foodie heaven for
seafood lovers, Goan cuisine is an interesting blend of the
Konkani and Portuguese cooking styles. Chapora Fort and do not
forget to get a picture clicked with your friends. To sum it
up, Goa is the land of never-ceasing festivity. This pristine
abode of sand, sun and water is always brimming with a frenzy of
its own. Some of the festivals celebrated in Goa include

Best time to travel to goa:
Mid-November to Mid-February: These are the best months to
visit the party capital since the weather is pleasantly cool and
comfortable. It is the perfect time to relax on the beaches.
Where to go:
Agonda Beach: Agonda Beach is one of the rare
solitary beaches in South Goa, Palolem Beach, which
sees most tourists. The Caribbean culture seems to
have swept over the place, with the locals often
seen on the sunlit beach. Even though the beach is
sparsely populated, you will find a lot of
restaurants where you can simply relax and enjoy
the sunset, Agonda is

Palolem Beach (hidden gem: Just a few miles from
the neighbouring state of Karnataka, Palolem Beach
is the southernmost beach of south Goa. Like any

of the tourist traffic. During weekdays, this beach
is next to empty with one or two fishermen going
about their business. On weekends the beach sees a
tad more activity, but only slightly so. Hardly any
tourist makes it to
this end of Goa.

stable food in goa is Fish curry rice. Curries are
given different Portuguese names such as calderite,
temperado, Amotik, Xacuti, vindalho and so on. Seafood
such as prawns,
lobsters, crabs,
pomfrets, clams,
ladyfish, mussels, and
oyster are used to
make variety of
curries, fries, soups,
and pickles. The Goan
use a lot of coconut
in their cuisine and
in sweets like bebinca
and dodal, which is a
coconut milk delicacy, the specialty of Goa, which is
also served as a desert.

‣ Shopping: Shopping in Goa is amazing. The
vistor’s gets fascinated when they get to shop
and roam in the traditional Goan Weekly Market.
Anjuna’s flea market and Mapusa’s weekly Friday
market are
fantastic place
for souvenir
shopping. In

Saturday night
bazaar at
Arpora is also
popular since
it is the
meeting place
for all tourist who come from all parts of Goa
to get together and have fun.
