A letter from theExecutive Director......Keep Oklahoma Beautiful's mission is to empower Oklahomacitizens to preserve and enhance the state's natural beauty andensure a healthy sustainable environment.From Fresh Paint Days (#FPDinOK) to the Great American Cleanup(#GACinOK) to the Environmental Excellence Awards, it's easy toexplain what KOB does to preserve our state's beauty and promoteenvironmental sustainability. What's less easy to explain is ourmission to "empower Oklahoma citizens" to take action, but that'sthe part of our mission that I find most rewarding.This has been an incredible year for Keep Oklahoma Beautiful andits affiliates. As you will see inside this report, our Fresh Paint Days,which will change in FY22 to Paint Oklahoma Beautiful, improvedthe face of 21 communities. Our Litter Education programs reached2,816 students. The Great American Cleanup encompassed all ofOklahoma's 77 counties; an accomplishment recognized by KeepAmerica Beautiful for its 12th consecutive year with 100% countyparticipation. We added six new KOB affiliates, bringing us to 39affiliates across the state.Program volunteers and new affiliates represent Oklahomans fromacross the state who are taking action to improve theircommunities. Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is proud to provide tools tosupport them in their efforts. We couldn't do that without yoursupport!In Oklahoma, home is beautiful. Because of your support, KeepOklahoma Beautiful is helping preserve and enhance that beautytoday and for future generations. More importantly, we empowerOklahomans in every corner of the state to take ownership in theircommunities, organize with their neighbors, and work together toget the job done.
