WORKSHOP<br />
We came off timetable for the final week of term,<br />
to participate in Creative Arts Week. Pupils took part<br />
in a number of workshops and sessions, designed<br />
to inspire them creatively around the theme ‘urban’.<br />
Year 10 spent the afternoon with local graffiti artist<br />
Luke Storkey, aka ‘Dharma 77’, learning how to work<br />
with spray paint.<br />
Southsea residents may already be familiar with<br />
Luke’s work, as he has a number of pieces in the<br />
local area. Characterised by beautifully illustrated<br />
figures, Luke has worked on record sleeves for<br />
a number of UK hip hop artists, including Skinnyman<br />
and Isatta Sheriff and has work exhibited in the<br />
Universal Hip Hop Museum in New York.
