is also the home of Simon Ammann,
the most successful Swiss ski jumper
and Double Gold Medal Winner of
the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in
Vancouver and in Salt Lake City in
2002.

Switzerland
Our main destination in Switzerland
is Toggenburg, a natural paradise
bordering Austria, Germany and
Liechtenstein.
Located in the foothills of the seven
Churfirsten peaks and the Säntis Mountain,
the Upper Toggenburg valley offers astonishing
landscapes, traditional customs and proposes
many outdoor activities up to 2.300 m above
sea level.
A spectacular sight are the Thur Water Falls in
the summer. In the winter you will find yourself
in the middle of the the skiing areas Alt St.
Johann, Unterwasser and Wildhaus.
In Upper Toggenburg children and adults find
a varied and full range of daytime animation
programmes and excursion possibilities:
walking paths in the middle of idyllic nature,
cable cars rides, river crossings, sport facilities
for all seasons; all located pretty close to family
friendly accommodations, that range from
traditional chalet style hotels to cosy family

Geneva’s history with the
mini-train Tramway Tour

Interlaken
Interlaken lies at the foot
of the world-famous
Jungfrau Mountain in the
very heart of Switzerland
between the Lakes of
Thun and Brienz. As
one of Europe’s oldest
resorts, English and
Russian royalty once
came here, built their
summer castles and
stayed for “the season.”
It is a town where traffic
moves leisurely through
lovely streets and past
unhurried strollers on the
Höheweg.
Lausanne
Built in three tiers,
Lausanne has the
sparkling blue waters of
Lake Geneva at its feet,
deep green forests at its
back and snow-capped
Alps in the distance.
A climb up to the Old
City will take you to
Lausanne’s superb gothic
cathedral, to the ancient
castle of Saint Maire and

of Europe as well as for
many superb hikes.
St. Moritz
Probably one of the
most famous resorts
in the world. It is chic,
elegant and exclusive
and has a cosmopolitan
ambiance. St. Moritz
lies on the South Side
of the Swiss Alps in the
sunny mountain valley of
the Engadine. St. Moritz
offers 322 days of
sunshine per year – more

either at the airport, train station or
your hotel and an approx. 1 ½ hours
drive will take you to BAD RAGAZ,
an elegant Victorian Spa with a long
tradition as a health spa presenting
imposing hotels and parks.
Upon arrival check-in at the Grand
Resort Bad Ragaz and enjoy a
refreshing welcome drink.
The Swiss town of Bad Ragaz in the
canton of St. Gallen, is renowned
for its spa culture. Located at 510 m
altitude in the Rhine Valley, Bad Ragaz
has its own hot spring which surges
down from the four-kilometre distant
Tamina Gorge at about 35°C. The Bad
Ragaz spring was actually discovered
in the 11th century and monks began
to make use of its healing powers
some 200 years later. However,
Switzerland’s oldest spa first began
its rise to fame around 1840 when
the healing waters were channelled
down to the village in wooden pipes.
It rapidly became a fashionable spa
where wealthy people came to relax
and recuperate. Welcome-Dinner is

Liechtenstein, the small alpine country
landlocked between Switzerland
and Austria. It´s the last remnant
of the Holy Roman Empire and an
independent state with close ties to
Switzerland. Enjoy your lunch brerak.
After lunch continue to Wildhaus-
Unterwasser and visit the Zwingli
House now a museum dedicated to
the 15th century Zurich reformer,
Huldrych Zwingli ( 1484 - 1531 ).
Get your Mountain Feeling and enjoy
the pure nature, overwhelming green
landscapes and a spectacular Alpine
scenery. If weather permits a cable car
ride will bring you to the top of Mount
Chäserrugg – 2262 m above sea level,

Friedrichshafen
After Breakfast pick you up at the
hotel and after approx. 1 ½ hours
drive you´ll arrive in Bregenz in
Austria. Vorarlberg’s capital Bregenz is
delightfully located at Lake Constance,
Central Europe’s third largest lake,
offering a dense cultural program and
a wide range of outdoor activities.
Pfänder, the local mountain at 1064m,
offers impressive panorama views,
while the pleasure boat excursions
offer a unique opportunity to view the
city and mountains from a different
perceptive. The centerpiece of the
2000 year old city at the eastern
shores of Lake Constance is the
bulbous, [St. Martin’s Tower] located in
the medieval center of town.
Your discovery program continues to
Lindau in Bavaria / Germany. Lindau’s
famous harbour, which is still regarded
today as the most attractive anywhere
on Lake Constance, was completed
in 1856. Here you will find simply
everything in a region, which we
believe to be the most beautiful end
corner of Germany.
Only a few kilometers away lies
Friedrichshafen on the shores of Lake
Constance in the South of Germany.
It is not only known for being a
tourist resort but also as the home
of the Zeppelin airships. Let yourself
be enchanted by promenading along
the boardwalk, one of the prettiest
and longest of its kind around Lake
Constance. Enjoy an Apple Strudel
with a spectacular view of the lake as
well as of the Austrian and Swiss Alps!
Visit the castle church and the estuary
of the Rotach.
From Friedrichshafen you´ll cross Lake
Constance (Bodensee) by ferry boat -
a wonderful approximately 50 minutes
sailing, which we´ll bring you back to
Switzerland at the opposite side of the
lake. From here it´s only a short drive
back to Bad Ragaz.

Bad Ragaz
A small town in the St. Gallen Rhine
Valley at the foot of the Pizol has a
long tradition as a health spa. Today
it is a wellness resort with top-class
hotels, thermal baths and golf courses.
The warm (37°C) healing waters
bubble up from inside the mountain in
the deep, mysterious Tamina Gorge in
nearby Pfäfers.
Golfcourse Bad Ragaz
A member of Leading Golf Courses
Switzerland: The Golf course dates to
1905. Nestled at the foot of imposing
mountains, the flat 18-hole-PGA
championship course, designed by
Donald Harradine (from the back tees
5700m/6233 yards, par 70 ) has been
a venue of the European Seniors Tour
and the PGA Seniors Open for the
past 10 years. Its slight undulations,
mature trees lining the fairways and
strategically placed bunkers, make it
enjoyable for the mid-high handicap
player and, from the back tees, a
challenge for the scratch golfer.

Bregenz

Germany
Bad Schachen
Golf Club Lindau
The golf club set high above the lake in
the Dreiländereck - the three country
corner where Germany, Switzerland
and Austria meet. From the minute you
walk towards the clubhouse, you´ll
be struck by the peaceful setting, and
the beauty and harmony of the course.
Your view takes in perfectly kept
bunkers, greens and fairways lined
by mature trees, rolling down to the
lake with a distant church steeple and
mountains in the distance. The club
President is Germany´s star architect
Kurt Rossknecht. After a warm
welcome in the Secretariat, where you
are given a tee-time ( you may have to
wait 10 minutes if it´s a busy day).
The first hole is a downhill par 5,
stretching 476m (520 yards) from the
“Champion tee”. No problem getting
confused at Lindau. The directions are
clear and the distances from greens
to the next tee short. The finishing
holes are a challenge and delight:
Number 16 at 217m ( 238 yeards)
with the pin protected by bunkers
in front and to the side, is the host
country´s toughest par, while the short
17th, only 286m (313 yards) long, is
considered Germany´s most beautiful
hole. Up hill, 348m (380yards) long,
the 18th requires a long drive and
accurate approach shot to have a

chance for a birdie. Don´t worry about
the 19th, where you´ll sit overlooking
the course4 a few yards from the 18th
green.
Switzerland
Gams
After a good Swiss beakfast enjoy
a round of Golf in GAMS - only 20
Minutes drive from Unterwasser. This
Par 72- 18-hole golf course lies in
the middle of an impressive mountain
range in the Rhine valley, bordering
Austria and Liechtenstein. Open
fairways, great greens and neatly water
hazards are waiting for young and old
players of any level. Additional facilities
are Driving Range, Putting Green and
Chipping Green.
Gonten Golf Course
Perched 800m above sea level the
par 70 Gonten Golf Golf, designed by
the renowned Scottish golf architect
John Chilver-Satiner, is simply
breathtaking. It´s not long - just 5151
m from the men´s back tees. It´s also
not particularly difficult - par 70 -
although there are strategically placed
bunkers to trap the careless, and
challenging water hazards, particularly
on the par 5, number 13 and number
16. The course is a statement of Alpine
majesty and the peace and harmony it
brings. Gonten reminds us why golf is
one of the life´s purest pleasures.
