AT TEXAS WOMAN’S UNIVERSITY, more than half of our undergraduate students start their education at a community college or other four-year university and transfer to TWU. We offer small class sizes, a welcoming environment and an easy transfer process. We have partnerships with many community college systems to help ensure your college coursework will transfer toward your bachelor’s degree. twu.edu/transfer At TWU, we believe in a quality education that is affordable and accessible. This is why we offer $13 million in scholarships annually, including many just for transfer students. Most students are able to maintain their scholarships for up to two years. Many financial aid options are available for transfer students, including grants, loans and part-time campus jobs. Find out more at twu.edu/finaid and follow the steps to apply. SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS 1. Apply to TWU at ApplyTexas.org 2. Check your Pioneer Portal to be sure your application is complete and you are accepted 3. Complete the FAFSA for Financial Aid; the FAFSA matches you with loans and need-based grants 4. Complete Scholarship Applications a. Apply and search for scholarships at twu.academicworks.com b. Submit the General Application and automatically match to “New Student Scholarships” you qualify for c. Some scholarship deadlines may vary Scholarship award amounts can range from $2,500 to $500.
