SPIN

Seattle, WA – Jimmy Lake should have a good team after getting a full non-COVID

offseason with his team. Lake was previously the DC for Washington which ranked 1 st in

the conference for total YDS/G allowed in 2018. In 2020, the defense ranked 13 th best in

the FBS against the pass which was best in the PAC-12 (185 YDS/G) and it ranked best in

the PAC-12 in total YDS/G allowed (346.3). All four games the Huskies played in 2020

were at home. The offense only returned 4 starters last year. Now the OC has had a full

offseason with the team and returns five on the line. The transfer additions at receiver

need to step in and make an impact right away. As far as conference schedules go, 2021

is generous with the Oregon and Arizona State games in Seattle and UW does not have to

face USC or Utah from the South Division. A night game at Michigan in week 2 will be fun.

The regular season win total should be around 10 wins. The home game against Oregon

will probably determine which team will represent the North in the PAC-12 Title Game.
