1. Selection process> After a call in the newspaper and on social media, we received 76 applications.34 were expression of interest from established artists and 32 applications fromnew artists.> The 34 established artists were automatically accepted and 16 out of the 32 newartists were selected on the basis of their portfolio.> A draw to allot a year to each of the selected artists took place in the presence ofMrs. Arti Ramkissoon.> The 50 participants were informed of their selection and the year assigned tothem. Those not selected were also properly informed.
