(2) In this regulation “vertical or sub-vertical<br />

<strong>open<strong>in</strong>g</strong>s” <strong>in</strong>cludes —<br />

(a) stopes and access rises;<br />

(b) fill, ore and waste passes;<br />

(c) ventilation rises; and<br />

(d) shafts and escape ways.<br />
