JUNIOR
SCHOOL
HERE FOR YOU
It is hugely important to us that parents do not feel anxious or guilty if they need their children
to be looked after outside school hours or during school holidays. Our intention is to provide a
safe, happy place that parents can rely on when they need it most.
During term time we offer Early Birds and After School Club. You can opt in and out of any of
these, as and when it suits you. There is no upper or lower limit as to how many days you book
or how many services you use per week. It really is up to you. Should you need to make any
last-minute changes we will always do our best to accommodate your requests depending on
availability.
Outwith term time our Holiday Club is perfect for parents of Junior School children who cannot
always take a break from work commitments during half term or long holidays. Children can join
us for a full or half day and again this can vary on a daily as well as a weekly basis.
Children can use a combination of e-Plus services on a full-time basis and with Holiday Club you
can be reassured that almost 50 weeks of care is available.
“After School Club is awesome –
it’s got everything you could possibly wish for!”
HOME FROM HOME
At e-Plus the emphasis is on children having a good time. Our before and after school care
during term time, together with our Holiday Club, provide a safe and secure environment for
children from Nursery to Primary 7.
Although our care takes place in school, we make every effort to make it feel different and not
just an extension of the school day. Two purpose-built facilities – New Ravelston for Nursery to
Primary 3 children based at our Ravelston site and the Solway Centre for Primary 4 to Primary
7 children based at Queensferry Road – provide an environment where children can play with
their friends, relax, socialise and have fun in a relaxed, comfortable space – just as they would do
at home. There are also plenty of opportunities to play outdoors where the children can explore
and have supervised adventures in the extensive school grounds.
SPOILED FOR CHOICE
Our staff take great pride and pleasure in keeping your child stimulated, motivated, challenged
and happy. Whether it is after school or during the holidays our custom-built facilities provide a
wealth of resources in comfortable surroundings.
For our younger children New Ravleston offers unrivalled opportunities to play indoors or
outdoors, irrespective of the weather. With painting, baking, reading and visits to local attractions
during the holidays and much, much more there is always something on offer either during term
time or holiday periods.
At the Solway Centre older children can enjoy quiet time doing homework, spending time
relaxing in the cafe with friends or go outside to play. We are confident that there will always be
something on offer to keep everyone happy and occupied.
TEAMWORK
The e-Plus team is chosen because they love working with children. Many have specialist
qualifications in Early Childhood Studies, Playwork and Youth Work.
Our team, in consultation with the children, take great pride in planning a programme of activities
which are often theme based and give children the opportunity to have fun through arts and
crafts, physical activity and imaginative play.
A lot of time and effort also goes into planning Holiday Club events and staff develop programmes
of activities which often include visits to local attractions, keeping children entertained with
adventure and excitement.
Our staff are always happy to speak to parents about their child’s individual needs, so please do
not hesitate to contact us either in person or by phone.
