She held groups in Baltimore, quickly grew theprogram throughout Maryland, and wanted to expand toserve even more mothers in need.Through her alma mater, she met Rebecca Neals, who withher husband, Mark, wanted to help fund the expansion of BirthEmpowerment. The couple hired Spring Impact to validateBirth Empowerment’s methodology and evaluate its readinessto scale. Spring Impact worked with the team to understandthe system that Birth Empowerment operated in and devise astrategy to reach 100,000 mothers over three years. SpringImpact began coaching the Birth Empowerment team toget real-world feedback on how their program can be mosteffective.The donors pivoted with the team to test new ideas andquickly find strategies to achieve their goals. Now BirthEmpowerment has the tools and processes they need toachieve breakthrough solutions that will create impact.
