Mr. & Mrs.Married 22nd December 2019BarnettI created a Pinterest board the day afterour engagement whilst on my sun loungerand started planning as soon as we arrivedhome! I used Instagram a lot throughoutmy planning, taking inspiration from otherDecember weddings and looking atblogs to gain ideas and find suppliers.The first thing we booked was our venue!We live local to West Tower and so knewthe venue already and had always saidwhat a gorgeous venue it was; we wanted aChristmas wedding and thought West Towerwould be perfect! It is a beautiful venue in allseasons, but there is a certain magic about itat Christmas time. We wanted our wedding tobe a representation of us as a couple, with adreamy and romantic feeling to our day, andjust felt West Tower was the perfect setting.Charlie and I met back in 2012 on a night outin a local pub. He asked for my numberand stole my heart! We have been inseparableever since. Six years later, whilst on holiday inthe Maldives, Charlie proposed on the beachat sunset; a moment I will treasure forever.We chose décor consisting of white roses, lotsof foliage and lots of candles. My cousin wasour florist and she did an amazing job for us.We had a huge archway built over the staircasein the main ballroom which really added to thestyle of the day, as well as draped foliage overthe balustrades.
