REFUND/RETURNED CHECK POLICY

All refunds must be requested BEFORE the second class meets. Tuition

for one and two night classes are not refundable. No refunds will be granted

for day trips unless there is a replacement for your spot. Check with the

tour company for refunds on extended trips. If cancellation protection is

available and purchased, 24 hour notice of cancellation must be given in

order to receive a refund. A $7 processing fee will be deducted from all

refunds, except if a class is canceled by us, then a full refund will be given.

Payments made by cash or check will be refunded by check. Please

allow approximately 15 business days for your refund to be processed.

Payments made by credit card will be refunded back to that credit card.

There is a $25 fee for all checks returned from the bank for non-sufficient

funds. This fee must be paid in cash only.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

If Lake Shore School District closes due to bad weather, Adult and Community

Education classes will be canceled, even if the weather later improves.

Every effort will be made to reschedule missed classes. In the

event we are unable to schedule a make up class, refunds will not be granted.

Trips will go as scheduled unless you are notified.

RESIDENTS AND NON-RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME

TO ATTEND ALL PROGRAMS

It is necessary to preregister for all

classes. Sometimes classes cancel

because the minimum number of students

is not reached. Classes are canceled two

days before the start date. Those who

wait to sign up might make the difference

in a class running or being canceled.

Don’t let a class cancel because of last

minute registration.

COVID-19

Lake Shore Community Education is

committed to utilizing layered mitigation

strategies to reduce the spread

and potential exposure of COVID-19

while being responsive to community

COVID levels, both spread increase and

decrease. The District will continue to

work closely with the Macomb County

Health Department, communicate

known strategies for reducing risk and

creating safer environments, as well as

enforce all health orders. Lake Shore

will utilize and encourage multiple

preventative measures while being prepared

to institute increased measures if

necessary.

then on the WEEKEND we will meet at the mutually agreed

upon place and time to photograph. We’ll return to the classroom

to review the photos and discuss our next trip. 3 classes

wonder of Christmas by exploring a 3 stories, 9500 Square ft. log home in Algonac MI, with 220 uniquely decorated trees!

The Walk tradition started in 2004 by owners Diane and Allan Kodet, and has become a must see, today 2,300 people visit

the home. Dinner before the visit will be at the Foxfire Fixin’s. Please make menu selection at time of registration: Healthy

Cluckers (boneless, skinless chicken breasts, potatoes, veggie, Pulled Pork Sammy (pulled pork served on a brioche bun

drizzled with your choice of BBQ sauce, served with slaw), Fish-n-Chips (golden fried cod with a heap of fries, served with

REFUND/RETURNED CHECK POLICY

All refunds must be requested BEFORE the second class meets. Tuition for one and

two night classes are not refundable. No refunds will be granted for day trips unless we

are able to replace you. Check with the tour company for refunds on extended trips. If

cancellation protection is available and purchased, 24 hour notice of cancellation must be

given in order to receive a refund. A $7 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds,

except if a class is canceled by us, then a full refund will be given. Payments made by

cash or check will be refunded by check. Please allow approximately 15 business days

for your refund to be processed. Payments made by credit card will be refunded back to

that credit card. There is a $25 fee for all checks returned from the bank for non-sufficient

funds. This fee must be paid in cash only.
