We alight fromthe train at Lake Bled and are taken by coach toour hotel.Day 3: LjubljanaThe capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is ourdestination today. Its compact size makes it easyto explore and there are treasures at every turn.With its hilltop castle and riverside location,Ljubljana is a wonderful place to visit, especiallywhen the festive fair and Christmas marketsare in full swing. The public squares are alivewith music concerts and entertainment. Youcan warm yourself with a cup of mulled wine orfragrant tea from one of the many festive stalls.Day 4: Lake BledEnjoy a day at leisure. A walk around Lake Bledis highly recommended to take in the views ofthe island with the little Church of Maria and theLjubljanatraditional Pletna boats with the back drop ofthe mountains.Day 5: Christmas Day: Lake BledMerry Christmas! A particular highlight of thisspecial day is our delicious included lunchtaken inside the medieval walls of Bled Castle,where you can enjoy heavenly views from morethan 100 metres above the lake. We also enjoya unique spectacle by the lake’s edge thisevening, when divers perform an enactment ofthe Legend of the Sunken Bell before we returnto our hotel.Day 6: Boxing Day: Postojna CavesToday we visit Postojna Caves, a magicalunderworld.
