JACK MULDOON
STRIKER
Age: 32
[ The Main Threat ]
The experienced front
man has been at
Harrogate for three
years following a
successful time in front
of goal with AFC Fylde.
Muldoon spent his youth
career with Scunthorpe
and Doncaster before
venturing into the nonleague
game, making his
name at Worksop, where
he notched 21 goals in a
single season.
Rochdale swooped in for
a deal for the attacker
but with chances limited
he was sent out on loan
to Halifax before leaving
to join Lincoln.
Muldoon played a key
part in the Imps’ famous
FA Cup run which saw
them reach the quarter
final against Arsenal.
In 2017, he joined Fylde
and in his one season
with the Coasters he
netted ten goals in 47
games.
Last season, Muldoon
impressed in his first
season back in the EFL,
finding the back of the
net on 14 occasions.
The Key Three
#1 MARK OXLEY
The former Latics goalkeeper
signed for Harrogate in
summer after suffering
relegation with Southend
United last season.
Born in Sheffield, HE began
his career with Rotherham
before joining Hull for a deal
worth £150,000 in 2008. Whilst
at the Tigers, he spent loan
spells with a number of clubs
including Latics.
During his time at Boundary Park,
he made 43 appearances in all
competitions under Lee Johnson
and started between the sticks
at Anfield in the FA Cup.
Oxley joined Hibs permanently
in June 2015 and became the
first goalkeeper to score for
the Scottish side since Andy
Goram in 1988.
Whilst at Southend, he won
Player of the Season and
Players’ Player of the Season.
#23 RORY MCARDLE
The 34-year-old defender
brings with him a wealth of
experience after joining from
fellow League Two side Exeter
in the summer.
McArdle began his career at
Sheffield Wednesday before
representing Rochdale 120
times. He then moved to
Scotland to sign for Aberdeen
and enjoyed a two-year spell
at the club.
The defender arrived back
in England with Bradford in
2012. As part of the side that
reached the League Cup
final, he went on to make 231
appearances and score 15
goals in a five-year period with
the Bantams.
Last campaign, the powerful
centre-back struggled for
game time at Exeter, featuring
just 16 times throughout the
year, before the switch back to
Yorkshire.
#4 JOSH FALKINGHAM
A club legend in every sense,
he arrived at Wetherby Road
in July 2017 following a short
spell at Darlington.
Born in Leeds, the 31-yearold
started his career with
his hometown club before
time north of the border with
St Johnstone and Arbroath,
where he spent two years and
helped secure promotion to
the Scottish Second Division.
The following season, the
midfielder was named in the
PFA Scotland’s Division Two
Team of the Year.
Falkingham then moved to
Dunfermline in 2012 and,
playing 153 times and scoring
14 goals.
The defensive midfielder
has established himself as
a firm fan favourite for his
performances in a yellow shirt,
culminating in leading the club
into the EFL.
