WEST BLOOMFIELD

ADULT EDUCATION AND PROGRAM GUIDE

2021-2022

WELCOME

To our dear friends across West Bloomfield and Metro Detroit,

We are all searching, grasping, hoping for light, goodness and human

connection, as we try to move past the challenges COVID-19 is

presenting.

In 1951, just a few years after the Holocaust, the Lubavitcher Rebbe

assumed leadership of the Chabad movement. His opening words of

leadership were the Biblical verse “I have come to my garden, my sister

my bride” (Song of Songs 5:1). In this verse, G-d describes the world as

“my beautiful garden,” and its inhabitants as “my sister my bride.”

Following this approach, the Chabad mindset has always been to find

the beauty embedded in G-d’s world, and to see the inherent goodness

in all of G-d’s creations.

At Bais Chabad we are determined even and especially, in challenging

times, to provide you with opportunities, through Torah classes,

holiday celebrations, Mitzvah programs and more, to find joy, meaning,

happiness and connection with others and with Hashem.

Wishing you and yours a happy, sweet and safe new year,

Rabbi Elimelech

and Chaya Sara

Silberberg

Rabbi Shneur and

Zeesy Silberberg

Dedicated to the legacy

of the Lubavitcher Rebbe,

Rabbi Menachem Mendel

Schneerson ob"m.
