What else is there to say that hasn’t
already been said about that 4-3
win? Team spirit, character and
plenty of talent were all on show
on the pitch, but there was also an
unwavering support and an electric
atmosphere from the fans that
spurred the team on to victory.
Life at the club continues to move
at a fast pace, much like a 90th
minute counter-attack! So there’s
plenty to keep you updated with,
and we start by congratulating
Garath McCleary on winning the
fans’ vote for Player of the Month
for the second month running.
The award is run in partnership with
Ignite UK, a leading UK outsourced
full fibre sales agency based right
here in High Wycombe. Ramon
Santos and his team are working on
an assortment of creative prizes for
the winning players, in conjunction
with leading tech brands including
JBL and Ring, and exciting attacker

caught the eye in September – went

The club’s local commercial ties
go from strength to strength and
it was great to welcome staff
and students from Bucks New
University to Adams Park this
week for a series of talks about
the mutual opportunities to lie in
wait, particularly as come towards
the end of the pandemic and the
restrictions that have come with
it. Those students could become
familiar faces around the stadium at
matches, both as fans and as staff
members, with plenty of matchday
roles up for grabs.
And it’s the rise in attendances
that are at the forefront of the
club’s ambition as we continue
what is shaping up to be a special
season for all involved. In the four
home games already we’ve had it
all – seven-goal thrillers, narrow
nail-biting victories, stunning
strikes, defensive heroics, fireworks,
giveaways, bright sun, wild rain… -
and we’re only just getting started!
So thanks again for being part of the
show this afternoon and we look
forward to seeing you back here in
a couple of weeks when we take on
Crewe Alexandra. Tell your friends,
family, schoolmates, colleagues,
neighbours, or even just those in
the queue at the petrol station.
