What's Your Slice? - Fall 2021
Welcome to Sliced Mango Collective’s inaugural zine, “What’s Your Slice?”! This project has been a long time coming, and it’s finally here. Over the last twelve months the team at Sliced Mango Collective has been working with creators from the Filipinx community in “Metro Vancouver” to create something that is sometimes sour, sometimes sweet, and always honest. It takes a lot of courage to submit your artwork for publishing, let alone a piece that is about yourself. In this zine you will find proms, short essays, interviews, photographs, paintings, and more. We asked creators what makes you you, what makes you part of the Filipinx-Canadian community, and what does that mean to you? We were overwhelmed with the response we got. Thank you for being here. We hope to see you again.
